Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Terre Haute

I don't normally bash places, but the pictures do not depict the current circumstances of the property. I arrive two hours early and was charged an extra 20 bucks to check before the normal time. I paid the 20 bucks, because I had to leave and go to a concert. Then I I went up to inspect the room. It was not what I expected from the photos. Also they could do 200 percent better at cleanliness. The room smelled and carpet was dirty. Also, on a secure standpoint there was no extra lock on the door. The door looked compromised as if someone broke it down before. You couldn't even lock the door it had no extra security no chain lock right away. I felt uncomfortable staying there. The clientele was sketchy. Not to mention the creeper that stood outside the door while we were inside inspecting. I ended up not even staying. I came back after the concert and returned my card. I highly do NOT recommend if you are a single female staying alone please be beware!!!

This hotel has went way downhill the rooms were horrible smelled of smoke toilets weren’t wanting to flush tub and sink were so nasty I couldn’t even bathe my children in it, went downstairs to ask for towels and they made me bring my old towels back before they would even give me new ones and they wouldn’t even give me wash cloths and the front staff person was rude I do not recommend anyone stay here it’s horrible

I have stayed at lot of Wyndham properties, and this is by far the worst property on the chain, when we arrived around 4:30 am, there were children out front of the property sitting on a chair. No parents or adult’s anywhere. I go inside to check in, but the front desk smelled of grandma old furniture mothballs… there is rugs going up the stairs to the 2nd floor outside had mold, uneven and I tripped going up, the only good thing was the ac was cold. The room smelled old the chair was disgustingly and if it wasn’t because I was so tired I would have request refund. I think we shut eyes for less than 2hours before we got up to leave. Toilet didn’t flush.. mildew around toilet and tub, DO NOT STAY HERE! Run!

The room was dirty the walls was horrible I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone it smelled and there was dirty band aid on the shower wall the floors was horrible

Not a clean property and I didnt get what I expected by the photos. But the staff we interact acted with were friendly.

Nice place. I liked the nautical theme in the room. The breakfast was bad. Toast, muffins, cereal and the standard make your own waffle machine. Only drink was coffee. Just a little more food and something to drink would have been nice.

Television did not work with supplied remote control (to be fair, desk attendant fixed TV) BUT, as a Plus, the air conditioner was quite cold.

Everything in the room was broken. The outlets, the toliet, the AC didnt cool the room even on the lowest setting, the bathroom door was broken and wouldnt close and had duct tape at the bottom of the door. The fridge didnt work either. It was frosted over. The beds were terrible. The AC unit had mold growing on it. There was also mold in the bathroom.

I would not stay at this property again. It was in poor condition. The walls were thin and you could hear the neighbors. The bedding had stains. With the condition of the property I would not have it associated with Days Inn name.

I thought the themes and art, decorations in the room were nice. It was fairly clean. The bathroom needed much more improvement, rust shower curtain rack, door wouldn’t close and the smell of mildew was disturbing in the bathroom. The breakfast was not replenished and waffle mix was out by 8:00 AM, even though breakfast hours ended at 9:00. Staff was never at the front desk, there was always a sign up saying they’d be back in 10 minutes. Disappointing stay.

No elevator for second floor.

We stayed in the Roman room. It was decorated nicely but put together crappy. Lights didn't work or were broken, sauna didn't work, bed sheets were not clean. They wash their bedding and towels every days according to their green policy but u can ask for clean stuff at the counter. Found a nice 'toy' under the dresser. Breakfast was not as advertised. Only waffle maker and 2 kinds of cereal, not sure if it was milk or cream. No coffee maker in room, for spending what I did. Definitely an experience.

This is worst place, do not go there. They didn't have my room ready, they lack proper cleaning methods and the place is delapidated and run down and my shower barely had water and it's old and dingy
