Super 8 by Wyndham Terre Haute

We reserved a room with full disclosure for 5 people. Got to the property and the room only had room for 4 people. They tried to make us buy another room. We saw the room which was smoke ridden, probably years of smokers in there. The bed had stains on it and we went right to the front desk. He unchecked us in and refused to refund us after we were scammed to believe that this property by Wyndham was at least sub par. It was not. It was like something out of them crime drama shows. Zero stars rating and still waiting for Expedia to assist with a full refund. Neither the motel or Expedia is helping us here. Warning stay away from.

The room was dirty. The tub had easily removable black grime all around the top edge, every corner of the room’s flooring was built up with dirt. The A/C smelled and made the room feel wet, the freezer in the refrigerator had 2-3” of ice built up on the interior, the dog relief areas were covered in poop with the poop bag dispensers empty.

We didn't stay we asked for a refund. The room was filthy, smelled like cat pee. There was something all over the pillow cases and sheets ,holes in all the blankets, holes in the walls. Toilet seat was broken. None of the pictures looked anything like the property and it was terrible

The first room they put us in they had a door stop that would not stay up so we had to lean over to lift it up to close the door. Went in to the restroom and there was dried blood on the towel hanging above the toilet. Went and voiced concerns over these 2 things, the lady was apologetic and placed us in a different room. Didn't realize until I got out of the shower that there were no towels in the new room. The lamp shade was tied on with yarn, no trash bags in the trash cans and the cans were filthy. The hotel is very run down in appearance. There is a horrible musty smell in the halls and rooms.

The staff was great, breakfast was good. However the room had mold in it.

Room was okay clean but not properly clean in the bathroom. So bad so we decided to just bath out of the sink. Bed and pillows were extremely old and thin. Breakfast was not easily grab and go. Staff were perfectly fine.

Staff was great. If you want cheap this is it. Halls have no air conditioning. Fixtures in bathtub need some attention. You can see the mold around them building up. Lots of traffic in and out later in the evening.

Only stayed long enough to sleep but overall the hotel seemed decent

Missy the front desk clerk was very kind, helpful & pleasant. The beds were comfortable, but the tub needed some elbow grease.

The best

This hotel is excellent in every way—comfort, security, cleanliness, and friendly, attentive staff. The only thing missing is some egg—like scrambled eggs—at breakfast, and then they’d be the absolute best

AC was loud and made horrible noises the bed was not comfortable at all the sheets were stiff and uncomfortable to sleep in the entire bedding was thin and gross. There was a long brown hair on the shower curtain. We never used the shower so can't speak on how the water pressure was and did not have the breakfast.

Their breakfast opened at 5"30 AM which was nice since we were in town for an event that started at 7 AM. Our room was clean and comfortable. the staff were polite.

Definitely old hotel and need some remodeling but it is good enough for one night stay for us

is good rate for budget minded seniors allowing them the oppurtunity to travel a little, and rooms were great

The bed was comfortable Cleanliness and repairs that was needed to make the facility more presentable
