Baymont by Wyndham Texarkana

We were very excited about the pool. Sadly it was not open and a sign stated it was closed for maintenance. No water in it and clearly no maintenance happening. Needs maintenance badly. Breakfast was white cold biscuits and white gravy, cereal, boiled eggs and a waffle station with no measure cups for mix. They had a list of prices for each towel, coffee maker, linens, soap dish, per key card etc. and on the top of the list states you will be charged if any items are broken or missing. That’s laughable as the items were old and obviously not well kept. The room was not vacuumed (probably ever) and you have 2 towels in the bathroom only. We had 4 individuals in our double bed room.

Very Comfortable bed. Also the staff were amazing. For people in wheelchairs like my wife. Have trouble getting things out of refrigerator, because door opens the wrong way. Also the shower for some wheelchair people need to have roll-in shower.

Experience was horrible. Arrived to check in late night as informed to the hotel. After check in me and my husband go to Dennys next door to eat, when we return with our overnight bags, we go into the room and there were roaches. We decided to leave, they went to check the room to confirm what I said and the guy came back and shook his head at the receptionist and my $100 deposit was returned. The front dest said they would let the manager know about me getting a refund what I paid at initial check in, its been 5 days, I've called repeatedly and left emails and each time I call the person at the front desk says that they will let the manager know and one said that he probably will not refund my money. Just a horrible hotel and business in my opinion from my experience. Mind you we had to find another hotel at 1230 am.

Air conditioning was extremely loud. Fridge didnt work and was dirty. Bed was very low to ground. Never been to Wyndham that even look like this not like any Wyndham I've ever stayed at

Not much! The staff was very rude and belittling. I asked for extra towels and was given a talking to about how I should not just use a towel and then throw it in the floor.

No vending machines on site and ice machines didn't work. Very run down. Looked like no repair maintenance being done. Broken furniture in the room

Was an okay stay for only 1 night. They advertised a free breakfast that was below par. Very minimum choices

Everything. The staff were so mean. The hotel was disgusting. We stay at budget hotels, you can be budget, and still be clean and kind. This hotel was neither.

Not well maintained but friendly and helpful staff.
