The hotel was completely shut. Down in my money has never been refunded, and nobody even notified me that the hotel was closed.

The stay at Wyndham Garden Texarkana TX was great, the check-in went smooth, the room and bathroom was clean, the bath linen was all folded and neat, the breakfast was also great, breakfast is number one on my list why I stay at Wyndham Garden Texarkana TX. I give this hotel a 5 all over.

The photos looked good but the reality was quite different …. It’s was cheap & convenient for a quick stop over …

I would recommend don’t book this hotel. They used old bed covers, freezer was not working, one lamp is not functioning, floor was not clean, AC was making noise and heavily vibrating. Don’t wanna book this place any more.

DON’T STAY THERE!!! Is not what EXPEDIA is advertising!!!! IS NOT A WYNDHAM hotel!!!!! Stay away from this hotel!
-
The property itself, is ran down. Dirty and smelly. I would not book here ever again.

Don’t do it. We booked the room for overnight travel, arrive and a sign saying the hotel is closed temporarily. 30 minutes to check in the key didn’t work. I was told to leave the door latch out so the door won’t lock behind me. No hot water, dirty bathroom and a substance on the wall that looked like vomit. Just keep looking for somewhere else.

Our room was never swept before we entered. Cookies, rock salt looking crystals, grass, trash on the floor. We asked that it be vacuumed 2 times & finally swept 2nd day in the afternoon. We reserved a king bed & got 2 queens. Trash cans running over in halls, No outside maintained, trash allover & grass overgrown. The whole place stunk & I just hope we didn't carry out more than we carried in. Not again!

It was dirty all throughout the hotel.

This was as expected for the price and other reviews. The bed was clean and comfortable. The tub/shower and the few towels were fine. The rest was dirty. We were able to keep the room comfortable enough with the ac on 60 w the fan on constant high. I called ahead to verify the pool and hot tub were working and was told that they are. They aren’t and they don’t have any intention of working on them. Once again, you get what you pay for.

Unfortunately, the rest of my stay was disappointing. The entry door to my room was difficult to close because it appeared to be sagging and likely needs the hinges adjusted or replaced. When I went to shower, I found that all of the towels were stained. I exchanged them, but the replacement set was also stained and had an unpleasant oily smell. Throughout the night, the TV in the room across the hall was extremely loud, and someone’s smoke detector was chirping constantly, making it difficult to get any rest. The cleanliness of the room was also below expectations. There was soap residue still on the shower walls and shelf, trash along the wall that had not been picked up, and noticeable stains and damage on the walls. The window curtain also failed to block out the outside light, making the room much brighter than it should have been at night. The bed was another disappointment. It was very uncomfortable and felt more like sleeping on a cot placed on the floor than on a hotel mattress. This property used to be a place I genuinely enjoyed staying. Sadly, it has declined significantly since my previous visits. While the staff was welcoming, the condition, cleanliness, and overall maintenance of the property have gone downhill, and it no longer provides the quality stay it once did.

Staff set our family on the 4th floor knowing the elevators were broken. Dirty non helping staff. And more crap to numerous to mention
-
Worst nightmare. The place was nasty. Elevator only worked part of the time. I was stuck in the elevator for about 5 minutes which my grandchildren,They were traumatized.
-
The hotel looks abandoned and the hallway smells like garbage and it’s very dirty also be careful in the room, it has carpet where you can find all types of things. I personally did cut my feet with a piece of glass on the room
-
There were no amenities and the water wouldn’t get hot.
-
The property was drab and unkept Elevator needed cleaning Breakfast food unappetizing Not enough towels Had to go to check-in for towels and toilet paper
-
Very bad the hotel got shut down bc fire marshal came in an shut the hole hotel down
-
Overall a cheap motel that’s needs desperate modernization

The place was filthy. We couldn’t stay. There was food on the floor outside the room. The floors looked as if they hadn’t been moped in a long, long time. Only one elevator was operational and it took FOREVER to get between floors. We canceled our booking and left.
