Best Western Texas City I-45

There was no manger on location till checkout. My room keys stopped working two times during our stay they had to fix them. They gave us a queen size bed and told us it was a king and would not go to the room to look at it.

The air conditioner worked Nonworking TVs, filthy bedsheets with hair and the reply from the person on duty said what do you know other people have hair when I told her that the bed needed new sheets because I wasn’t sleeping in a bed that had dirty sheets with stains. Broken appliances.

The room was so full of mold and mildew that our eyes were burning in the morning and I had trouble breathing the next few days. The A/C (which is the likely cause of the mold) leaked water all of my belongings, woke up to no dry clothes.

Nothing Room is super dirty. I think they did not clean up the room before I come. When entering the room, even my wife found a used comdom on the floor in front of the nightstand. Towel is dirty. Ac sounds like a lawn mower. Pool is also not clean, has sand at the bottom.

I didn't eat breakfast and location is okay The air conditioning sounds like a lawnmower and it took all night to cool. One of the towels had a booger on it. The mattress was super old and the hotel smelled like old onions. The owners are not reasonable at all. If there was a .25 on the rating that's what I'd give the hotel.

I was leaving for a cruise the next morning and didn’t want to pay the large amount to stay on the beach. The price was affordable, the room was clean with lots of room, and they had breakfast in the morning when I checked out. Nothing negative to say and will stay here again for my next cruise. Only took me 13 min from hotel to port and that was with all the construction going on.

The property is clean but the bed and pillows aren’t the best they need to get new mattress and update the pillows the breakfast is good but the coffee, is terrible

Location The room was very dusty. I had to wipe dust off most everything.

The front desk agent simply said she wasn’t there when the reservation was apparently canceled, didn’t know why it happened, and that there was nothing she could do. No real solution was offered, no alternative accommodation, and no accountability. To make matters worse, they are refusing to issue a refund for a room they failed to provide. It is completely unacceptable to take payment, give the room to another guest, and then refuse to refund the customer. This left us stranded in the middle of the night after a long trip. I would strongly discourage anyone from staying here. If the hotel cannot honor confirmed reservations or take responsibility for its mistakes, travelers should look elsewhere. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.

Breakfast room, very crowded regarding small serving area. Contents rated 4 of 5, eg. Meats properly cooked, potatoes well seasoned, yet other options humble. Proceeded to Kelly's for breakfast instead regarding 250th for 1776 celebration and noted little recognition decor.

Rooms needed to be cleaned better. Roach crawled out from under the dresser, sticky handprints on chair. Beds were comfortable

The room smelled fresh, not musty. Everything was clean. Breakfast was very good.

Free breakfast, room was cleaned, staff was very nice. Room could not get cool. It seemed like only cold air was coming out of one half of the unit. TV needed two remotes to operate properly. The furnishings seemed worn out. The place looked tired. I expected a bit of a better experience from Best Western. Felt like I was over charged.

Very close to highway. Good free breakfast. Plenty of parking. Found bed bug in bed. Told 2 employees, a female and a male, female came to room to verify the bed bug. She took it, said ok, and will speak with her supervisor. But nothing was done to address our situation. When we checked out, that same male employee, said thank you, and that was it. There was no compensation nor any acknowledgement of the bed bug situation.
