Quality Inn Texas City I-45

It was overall clean but we saw some cockroaches!!!😖

Really only interacted with the night desk and she was so nice and friendly. The only amenities I used were the washer and dryer and it worked well. The hotel was close to Walmart which helped and close to other places. I will stay again when we go back to Galveston.

When we walked in it seemed nice. We get to our room and check bed and all...ya know the bed bug thing. The bathroom had old wood and paint chipping around tub. We left and went to dinner with family staying at the Quality Inn next door. Their stay was nice. I dropped my cord behind head board and so I reached under bed and there is a confetti cake...we dismissed this with just don't dig further but defiantly the room had not been detailed. Next morning our daughter found a sex toy doll under the end of her bed that she just accidentally kicked and so she looked. We called the staff in and they picked it up and carried it away like it was a everyday occurrence or something. They did apologize. I feel like my daughter should have never been exposed to this and it goes back to their cleaning crew. No compensation was offered for all this which I feel it should have been! So now standing joke in our family is stay there and have your cake and eat it too!! Not happy with how staff handled this at all and yes the doll had been used. It was not in bag we used the bag to move it

Breakfast was poor. No protein (meat or eggs) in sight.

Our room smelled so bad and the sofa bed was dirty nasty and stained . Bath tube filled with water when showering. The fridge didn’t keep drinks cold milk went bad

No hot water in the shower but hot water at the sink.

Just so you know, there is no fitness center. I couldn't find much information on the website because it's a chain, but I did find some sites online that said there is a fitness center. Apparently, that has been gone for years. The location is really great! There are restaurants very close, and the Walmart is 5 minutes away! We ended up going with the Olive Garden, which had great food and service.

Was clean the front desk lady at night over the weekend was rude I asked for change and she refused till I asked her the same thing 3 diff ways and she did it like what

Very friendly staff and the indoor pool was very nice along with the breakfast options. The only downside was the awful musty smell in our room. It was overpowering and really was hard to ignore.

I was upgraded to a king suite which was a nice surprise. Initially I gave all high marks upon checking-in as the room was clean and staff was courteous and professional. It wasn’t until the morning that things changed. When I flipped on the light in the bathroom, probably 6 to 8 roaches scattered from under my toiletrie bag and I saw one in the tub. Unfortunately, I saw one run across the bed and when I emptied my bag out, there were 2 baby roaches inside. When I checked out a couple of hours later, I informed the desk clerk who was very apologetic. If it wasn’t for the roaches, I would have kept the 5 star rating.

Location to cruise ships, nice lady that checked us in Breakfast (ugh!)... Not good! Rust on fridge,shower wasn't cleaned

It was in a very convenient location, right off the highway. It was a short drive in to Galveston. The room was very clean and well kept.

Room was smaller than other hotels in the area. One of the sheer curtains was torn. The lower luggage table upon entering the room should probably be removed because there's not much space between it and the corner of the wall. Breakfast options were waffles, cereal, toast, yogurt, prepackaged Hostess crumbcakes, and coffee. The hotel was clean and quiet, bed was comfortable, and towels were soft.

I will definitely book again. Clean rooms and prompt response and not forgetting beautiful and healthy breakfast

The bathroom was very rundown. Texture coming off walls, rusty bathtub, goop hanging down from rim of sink. Below average breakfast options. Pillows were terrible!
