Comfort Inn & Suites Texas City I-45

The hotel had smell when walking in. Had to hollow to get help checking in. The swimming pool was closed and didn’t see a hot tub at all. The room didn’t stay cool at all. Never stay there again. Wish I had spent more money somewhere else.

Stayed three nights, no room service the entire stay. Had to go down to the desk to get clean towels.

Room was musty,damp ,stinky,wet,moldy and probably unsafe for people to stay in . The room a/c worked fine until after midnight then started making grinding noises of and on that woke us up. The front entrance had a trash can overflowing with trash, the main lobby smelled Chinese food. The downpour of rain as we arrived was a sign of things coming. The window in my room was leaking in rain,bugs, and allowing outside noise in. Kitchen area had food stains on floors . I rented room for two nights but left after one night. I did not get a refund for the second. I rejected another room offer as I expected a similar room status. If they don't inspect room conditions before they don't care about their visitors, The Comfort Inn had a good reputation. This dump needs to close. I will not be choosing this chain anytime soon or ever. The staff was so rude and quick to point out no refund from them.I suggested they fix the problems before renting more rooms. Maybe local-city inspectors need to be notified about the mold problem. I don't recommend renting a room here until new management is hired . I failed to read the reviews about this dump. I suggest the Comfort Inn remove their name from this place.

This seems to be a very old property in need of repair and updating. Bed was comfortable.

ONLY GOOD THING I HAVE TO SAY ABT THIS PROPERTY IS THAT THE AC WORK GOOD OTHER THEN THAT THE POOL DIRTY ROOMS HALF CLEAN ROOMS LIGHTING IS HORRIBLE NO LAMP ON NIGHTSTAND SECOND FLOOR SMELL LIKE SMOKE MUSTY N CINNAMON STAFF HAVE A BAD ATTITUDE BREAKFAST I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND I SEEN THE WORKER DIG IN HIS NOSE AND KEPT DEALING WITH THE FOOD LIKE NOTHING BUT HEY BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK

The place was nice overall I mean the room was only 80$, the suite was super nice just had a odor

Worst property ever

I would strongly advise families and travelers to avoid this hotel. Our stay was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Unacceptable Cleanliness & Constant Room Switches: We were initially placed in a room on the second floor that was filthy and disgusting. When we called the front desk lady, she dismissively told us over the phone that there was "nothing she could do about it." I had to demand to speak with her manager. He did step in and kindly agreed to switch our room, but the next room was a major downgrade—we had originally booked a King bed with a pull-out sofa to fit our two daughters, and he tried to put us in a basic King room with no couch. When we explained that wouldn't work, he moved us to a room with two Queen beds on the first floor. While this third room was slightly less filthy than the first one, it was still far from clean: the mattress protector and bed covers had visible stains, grime was caked into furniture, and the nightstand phone was caked in dirt. Other guests even mentioned people were being moved around due to mold. Major Safety & Security Risks: The issues in our first-floor room went beyond dirt—our door lock was completely broken, meaning we couldn't properly secure the room from the inside. To make matters worse, the ground-floor windows lacked locks, leaving us completely exposed and feeling unsafe with our kids. The pool door was also broken. Refusal to

This property is in need of a good cleaning. The halls, elevator, etc. looked like they haven't been cleaned in a long time. Room was satisfactorily clean.

We stayed here because it was cheap to stay there, we knew we wouldn’t be there but just to sleep. Our sink didn’t drain. Toilet seats were loose. At one point elevator was broke. They didn’t send house keeping to clean the room or make the beds. We had to take our own trash out. Staff was nice and helpful they just need better housekeeping and a maintenance guy.

Room was clean but in need of some repairs. The security lock was broken. The pool only had ladder steps and we were unable to use.

check in staff were very nice, but the room was extremely terrible. mold was growing on everything and was 100% airborne. we were only looking for a place to sleep as we came into town later in the evening and were leaving early the next morning. i also am not very picky when it comes to just sleeping. it was so bad we got a refund and spent an hour or so finding somewhere else to sleep. definitely do not recommend until they do a full remodel

The staff was so kind and helpful! I stayed for two nights and was not disappointed by my stay. The room was clean but I have to applaud the front desk worker! He was so kind and attentive every time I saw him. I will definitely be back!
