The Lodge at Tiburon

The location is fabulous, close to shops and restaurants.

We had a really great stay here. Convenient location walking distance to Main Street Tiburon where we had the best dinner at Sam’s and the best breakfast at Salt and Pepper. Both Javier and Rolando at the front desk were super nice, helpful and gave great recommendations! The pool and hot tub were beautiful, loved the little poolside lounge beds. Beautiful property. Only suggestions to improve the guest experience would be to keep the pool area open until 10 and allow room charges from the bar/resraurant.

It was a great location, the town is beautiful. The inn was walking distance to every thing. It had a mid century modern vibe.

Pros: Location: Situated in a peaceful, charming town with fantastic local restaurants and scenic walking/running trails within short walking distance. Excellent basecamp for day trips to Napa, Angel Island, and nearby areas. Convenience & Amenities: Easy parking with ground-floor access that made rolling luggage in simple and gave direct access to the pool. The room had a good mini-fridge, and while there wasn't a microwave in the room, there was one available in the lobby. Service & Food: Check-in was seamless, and the staff was exceptionally welcoming—one team member even walked me over when I couldn't find the ice machine. Room service/delivery was fast and delicious. Comfort: The bed and pillows were comfortable for a good night's rest. Cons: Noise Levels: The main downside was sound insulation. You can easily hear noise from the pool area, neighboring rooms, pet guests, and the AC unit, which made sleeping a bit difficult. Verdict: Despite the noise hurdles, the comfort, location, and welcoming service make this a place I’d happily stay at again.

I’ve stayed at this property several times. This recent stay I noticed a difference right away in the overall vibe. For example, no breakfast served at the restaurant on weekdays, no fire pit going/no s’mores, and the pool area had overgrown weeds and very little towels available. There also seems to be little staff around. I found myself googling to see if the property had changed ownership and to no surprise it has. I’m hoping to see a favorable change in the near future. We have always considered this place a little gem in the Bay Area.

I hope the new management can continue with excellence. There are details we noticed: not enough towels or chairs at the pool, trash in some planters, the hot water in the lobby is tepid, the hot tub jets were finicky, room wasn’t serviced for five days, need more towel racks in the bathroom. But the bones are all there for a great property and experience. We enjoyed our time. It was clean. Wifi worked well. The restaurant had a great Taco Tuesday deal. Cheapest meal we had all week.

The location to downtown Tiburon was excellent. The staff were very helpful. the rooms were clean but nothing special. Parking was great.

It may have been a quirk or disgruntled/poorly trained employee, but the room had obviously not been cleaned carefully. Objects on the rug that could've been vacuumed and were not, empty water bottle between night stand and bed, dark foreign matter in the bathtub. I've stayed here several times in the past and this is not been an issue. I may give the lodge one more chance in there future, then again I may not.

Loved our short getaway in Tiburon and stay at the Lodge at Tiburon. Great and friendly staff and nice spacious room near the downtown area with great restaurants and views!

The staff, front desk & restaurant waiters were very helpful and professional. Special thanks to Rolando for handling our add on reservation with ease. Also, the food quality in the restaurant was very good.

We had a great stay at this lodge. Booked it 3d time and looking forward to stay again!

We noticed the lack of care of the landscape, the rundown gargen area that was so beautiful, the pool area not as clean on the grassy areas as well as the furniture and towel supplies and the pool bottoom was dirty and not very warm like it used to be. We absolutely LOVE this property and hope to continue to spend many nights/weekends each year and we are hoping the new ownership brings it back to its prestine condition is was for so long.

We were charged extra for hotel services - required. Our room was not cleaned, the comforter was ripped, and hairs from prior occupancy were in the drawers. We went to the pool and there was a dog in the pool when the rules stated no dogs allowed. People smoked by the fire pit. We did not see a sign for smoking. Maintenance in general was needed. We are so disappointed and it was not cheap. We stayed there for a bit of our honeymoon 28 years ago so the disappointment was even greater.

Unfortunately at check in we expected a bit more. Also there were 2 spiders on the wall of the bathroom. I wish I would’ve stayed somewhere else.

Ask for pool towels prior to getting into the pool. They seem to be always out

Bathroom sink counter is impractically tiny. No shelves to speak of. Don’t get toilet paper or coffee after the second night and no one even bothered to come after the first. Beautiful location tho. But the lack of outlets is inexcusably bad.

The room was poorly maintained and showed significant signs of neglect. The bathroom floor had cracked tiles, there was visible mold in the caulking around the bathtub, and the window blinds had a noticeable tear. Even the towels were old, rough, and felt long past the point of needing replacement. To make matters worse, the sound insulation was terrible. We could clearly hear every footstep from the room above us, making it difficult to relax or get a good night’s sleep. Overall, the property feels tired and in need of a comprehensive renovation and much better upkeep. At this price point, we expected a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained room. Instead, we found a hotel that was badly in need of attention and offered very poor value for the money. Unfortunately, we would not stay here again and cannot recommend it unless the property undergoes substantial improvements.
