The Lodge at Tiburon

Bath tub drainage never fixed all over stay. We call Friday than Saturday sometime but still to slow to drain , water come up to ankles . Never resolved the problem. Second people talking very loud out side right over our room. Very late in night.

Poorly maintained rooms, needs a remodel!

The rooms were clean, location is great and the amenities were good. The staff service did not match the price and the property does have a lot of wear and tear.

Great location for exploring Tiburon and southern Marin—and going over to Angel Island on the ferry. The staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was quite comfy.

What we liked about the property was the location. It was walking distance to downtown with shops and a few restaurants. You can catch the ferry from there to San Francisco and Angel Island. The hotel itself is a bit dated in need of some cosmetic changes. Example, the shower head base had cracked tile and caulking around shower was very messy. The bed was too hard for my taste and it was difficult to sleep. Location made up for some of the shortcomings.

The hotel is a little bit old, but it’s clean. It’s beautiful. The island itself is gorgeous.

We enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent. It’s close walking distance to restaurants and shops.

$25 for a burger- outside could be nice if they maintained the wood tables which are showing wear. The room was very basic and the bed was so hard neither of us slept well with back aches in the morning. The staff we contacted were very pleasant and the price for the area was reasonable but given the aging hotel I can understand why. The plus is that it’s just minutes to walk to Main St, the Ferry and Bay. Parking is free and spacious. Lots of families which was nice to see. Just due to the mildew for and bed I don’t think I’ll return here again unfortunately. I know I’ll pay double at the one other hotel in town but it’s new and clean and hopefully the beds are comfortable.

Nice location. Rooms are comfortable but need updating. They do not serve any sort of breakfast. Coffee provided was just terrible. Good news there is great coffee shop and bakery 5 minutes away

Location AC a bit loud

Convenient to where I was going. Very average facility. My room was on the third floor and the elevator was broken. I am 88 years old and I had to carry my luggage up two flights of stairs myself. The front desk attendant did not offer to provide assistance. No bellhops were present. When I lodged a complaint at the front desk the attendant said that I did not ask for help. When I said that most good hotels, knowing the elevator was broken, would have offered assistance. His response was “take it up with the manager the next day.” He was not courteous or apologetic and did not present a good image for the hotel. I will not be staying in this hotel again and I will not recommend it to anyone. I spoke to the manager the next day and he was apoplectic and offered me compensation on my room rate.

The location otherwise not good. The clerk at the front desk was grumpy unfriendly and didn’t offer any assistance. The bathroom had a used towel and used washcloth in it. No soap or body wash in the shower. It was very disappointing experience. Other than the location nothing!

Highly recommend

We stayed one night. We had a spacious room with a small patio. The room was updated and very clean. Staff members were polite, professional, and helpful. We had a nice walk at the water's edge in Tiburon, with views of the SF skyline. Ferry stops to SF and to Angel Island are a short walk from the hotel. Restaurants, cafes, and a very upscale grocery store were close by. Nightly rates are high, but that is the case with all hotels in Tiburon and Sausalito. We were disappointed that the hotel no longer offers bike loans, we were looking forward to a nice bike ride.

A great location in Tiburon. Walking distance to Sam's which has an incredible view of the city. The room was clean and spacious with two queen beds. Staff is very friendly - check in was a breeze.
