Hotel Sausalito

The hotel does not have someone at the front desk at all time so you have to let them know what time you will be arriving so they can check you in. They do have water and coffee and there are places around the corner to grab breakfast, but the hotel itself does not have a restaurant.

Staff: not always at hotel, call to have them come-over from nearby other hotel where they also work :: they are super nice and helpful .. go above and beyond! Refund for Problem : If you have any problem .. general manager may take some time to work it out. I was given a partial refund after requesting it (it was not offered) for one night of an unexpected bad smell in the room .. the smell was temporary and only lasted one night (hopefully a one-time event). Safe area: the hotel is so close to the main area of Sausalito that it felt completely safe to walk at night to and from restaurants

Front desk “star” Robin was so helpful with suggestions on great places to eat as well as tending to our timing for coming and going.

The Wi-Fi was spotty at Best. There was almost always no one at the front desk so you had to make a phone call for any assistance. The sink in our room had a constant leak. There was also no safe in the room. The only great thing about this hotel was its location, which was amazing.

Location was excellent. Parking was adjacent and the hotel offered a discount. Historical properties always have their downfalls. This property seemed well maintained, but the sink drained very slowly and the air-conditioning didn’t blow cold (it was unusual to be so warm in Sausalito that you needed AC in the first place, but when you need it, it should work) it’s located above a popular restaurant so there is lots of street noise, including very early in the morning for Street Sweeping, delivery trucks, etc. When the desk staff were there, they were friendly and helpful.

Very nice boutique hotel with a stellar location, and very convenient parking ($30 extra, which is VERY reasonable for that area). Good value for money as well. Aircon worked great as did shower/water pressure. Good selection of TV channels, and fast internet (no extra charge)

Front desk staff were fantastic - very welcoming and helpful. Clean throughout. Parking was relatively easy, despite a big event happening the evening we arrived. Perfect location to explore Sausalito and access to Muir Woods.

Free bottled water. No one on property overnight. Very nice view of park and bay. All 16 rooms in second floor. Good elevator service. Convenient to restaurants, shops, ferry, park, etc.

Very friendly staff, great room, nice firm mattress will visit again

Great location, room with bayside view, market fair on weekend. Carpet very dirty, walls let every sound in, early morning business noise.
