Motel 6 Tigard, OR - Portland South - Lake Oswego

The Motel is near the highway, so location was good for overnight. The staff was nice and helpful. Good wifi, it was clean. At the time there were a lot of weird people staying around, at some point I didn’t feel much safe. It was mid September and outside was that night very cold and since it is an old building it had central AC/heater. Even though we turned off the AC, the room was very cold, around 15C degrees. We asked for extra blankets which we were provided however it was not enough and it was very cold.

Next door to 24 hour fitness Outside trashcan were full. Smokers smoked too close to building.

There is 2 Motels 6 in that area, one across street from the other. Receptionist in both places They were very rude and unfriendly. I will never go back to that place.

People were nice enough but for some reason I just felt awkward there. Perhaps too high end and fancy for me.

Room was in pretty good condition. The bed was similar to sleeping on a brick floor.

It would be nice to see that each room had a hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner, pen and note pad, do not disturb signage to hang on the door handle.

Staff was great.

Clean room with fridge and microwave. Noisy longterm neighbors next door and perhaps the worst wifi I've ever had in a US hotel. Good location on SW outskirts of Portland, near shopping, coffee, groceries and cheap gas.

Pretty consistently the most affordable motel option in Portland that isn't "cash only". Although the amenities are austere, the staff is friendly, the location is convenient, and the room is clean!

I've stayed there for years very good place to stay 10 out of 10

Unfriendly and not the cleanest

This was my fifth time staying there. Definitely will stay again.

The room was freezing when we came in and the vent did not shut like they were supposed to when turned off in bathroom On the shower floor had debris and it was leaking water on the floor, the microwave buttons didn’t work. The TV Internet / channels didn’t work. The fire alarm was nonfunctional not hardwired not plugged in and no battery plus it expired in 2013, which is way over the expiration time to where it needed to be changed or checked, which means they don’t check the fire alarms and your safety is at risk if you stay here cheap room for one night but could have cost me my life if there was a fire in the building

Front desk very helpful. The maintenance crew is unfriendly and actually scowled @ me when I said hello. I’ve stayed a few times and the maintenance crew painting and patrolling the lot are surly and unfriendly. Expect to get an ugly glare from workers here. Not the Front Desk, they are pro, but otherwise nope ….
