Enjoyed managers reception with Bev. Pool was great. Room clean. Great value.

Bev is a wonderful bartender. She makes staying there fun

Stayed in a king bed suite. Clean, plenty of room. Tickets were provided for a free drink at the bar in the evening and breakfast in the morning. Server filled plates from the breakfast buffet, food was hot. Coffee wasn’t very good, otherwise everything was good. Friendly staff.

This is an older hotel. Great outside pool area. Common ares need updating. Not what I would expect from a Wyndham property

Wasn’t my best stay, but Beverly, the bartender, is the only reason I keep going. First off, I ordered a specific suite, and the lady said someone was in it already. She said I could have it when they checked out two days from then. I was staying ten days this trip. Next day a different lady told me the room was under construction, and that it was out of commission indefinitely. This lady did go out of here way to show me a comparable room, so I took it. I noticed the room was a little warm, so I turned up the AC, but never got it to cool the living area down. Thank god the bedroom AC worked. I told the clerk, and she assured me the mechanic would look at it Monday. Long story short, he checked it twice and said it was fine, while I was still sweating like a pig. Tv, didn’t work, took me 20 minutes to fix. Shower didn’t get hot, turned out the diagram on handle was reversed, so figured that out. Believe it or not, this was not my worst stay here.

Staff was helpful, laundry on-site was a huge bonus.

Breakfast required a voucher, which wasn't a problem in itself, but the employee checking vouchers spoke very little English. The interaction amounted to repeatedly demanding, "Ticket! Ticket! Ticket!" rather than offering a friendly greeting or assistance. For the record, I'm from an immigrant family and have no issue with immigrants whatsoever. My concern is that a hotel should place employees in guest-facing roles where they can communicate comfortably with the people they're serving. Good communication is part of good customer service. On a positive note, both of the young ladies I interacted with at the front desk were polite and helpful. They are the reason this isn't a two-star review. The hotel wasn't awful, but it missed on several details that added up.

The stay was ok. Quiet room. Lots of TV channels. Staff seemed very nice. Breakfast was good with lots of options. Only problem was the AC - it was not the best and had a puddle underneath it from condensation - I worry about a mold problem from that.
-
I would stay again if I go back to Topeka.

We only stayed one night. The bed was comfy and the air conditioner worked very well! The carpet in the hallway, however, was worn and not the cleanest.

It was a decent stay for one night. Definitely an older place but was fine.
