Rooms are small but clean, staff at restaurant was nice and refunded money when we didn’t like the food. Not many options in the restaurant for breakfast or dinner. Otherwise, stay was okay.

Location, pool Staff, broken elevator, lost reservation (paid in full with receipt), rude desk staff , parking lot garbage can overflowing for days, vomit on sidewalk, very limited menu

We really enjoyed our stay in Hiltons newly remodeled Tapestry Hotel Martis Valley. Updated modern Rustic appeal was cozy and classy. Food was delicious and staff were all amazing and helpful. Our Suite and fireplace were romantic and cozy! We highly recommend this hotel as it is central to western Lake Tahoe for hiking, outdoor activities, museums, historical sites, restaurants and day tripping! Donner Lake, Truckee, Tahoe City, incline Village, beaches and more.

Only one elevator. So, be ready to use the stairs.

The location was fine, close to Northstar, a few miles from Truckee. It's part of a minor shopping center which provides conventient access to snacks. Also, their supplied coffee, both in the room and in the hall, was quite good. The strangest aspect, though quite minor, was the impossibility of preventing shower spray from wetting the floor. The tub in the shower has a 3-inch moat around it that drains to the floor. Perhaps a sponge mop would be useful.

Beautiful Corten and great location lovely rooms

The buffet breakfast was not offered. Room was clean but the auto on lighting in the sink area would come on with any movement. Since there is not a door, we often would be awakened . The person on the front desk was very helpful as was the housekeeper.

The hotel was very clean and kept. Receptionist could have been more courteous and thorough at check in. He assumed we knew the ins and out of the hotels, so I had to ask him more questions. Breakfast is an extra $15. Great hotel otherwise.

The room was updated and spotless The bathroom had been totally remodeled and had all the necessities. The location was also perfect for our trip.

I like the location because it sits just a bit off the beaten path, which gives it a real sense of ease and well‑being. It’s quiet and private, with pleasant décor and comfortable spots to sit back and unwind. The pool area is lovely too, and the whole place has a charm that carries into the evening. When the nights turn chilly, the fire pits add just the right warmth to enjoy the fresh, delicious air.

I had an exceptional experience at this hotel. It is extremely well maintained, clean, beautiful, and all of the staff I interacted with were extremely helpful and friendly. I would not only recommend this hotel with a glowing review but happily stay here again!

Beautiful hotel with modern, luxurious decor.

Room was clean and comfy. It’s a quiet location but close to town.

Very nice hotel with the basics. Clean rooms, friendly staff, not many amenities. Sheets were scratchy but not unusable. The disappointment was the breakfast. You had a choice between yogurt, oatmeal, a sandwich or a breakfast burrito served with a side of what you can tell were frozen tater tots. I’d say skip the breakfast and come for the scenery. The location is beautiful and the price is very reasonable.

We just finished our stay and our kids loved the pool and hot tub area. This hotel was a disappointment. It's very dirty and the air in our room didn't work well so it was very uncomfortable. For the price you would be better off at any other local hotel.
