Nice property.

Clean room, friendly staff, quiet, felt safe.

First, I want to recognize the front desk staff at check-in. They were excellent—friendly, welcoming, and even accommodated an early check-in, which I really appreciated. When I first walked into the room, it smelled fresh and looked clean. Unfortunately, that first impression didn’t last. The couch had several visible dirty spots on it. Then, when I got into bed, I immediately noticed an unpleasant odor. The pillow smelled like someone else’s hair, and both the pillowcase and sheets were heavily wrinkled, making it seem like they hadn’t been changed. The bedding also had a noticeable body odor, which was honestly disgusting. I contacted the front desk and asked for the bedding to be changed. Although they did replace it while I was out, the new bedding was still wrinkled and still had an odor. At that point, it became clear that the housekeeping standards are not where they should be. Later that evening, I returned to the hotel and couldn’t get through the front entrance because the automatic doors wouldn’t open. I used the intercom for assistance, and instead of simply explaining that I needed to tap my room key to unlock the door, the response I received was, “Do you have your key?” A quick explanation would have been much more helpful. As a Marriott Bonvoy member who stays at Marriott properties all over the world for work, I never expected to have an experience that felt more like a motel.

I was assigned a handicap room when I did not ask for it and the desk clerk told me Expedia sold me the room based on availability. I did not request nor need a handicap room. The night drunks were loud and noisy for a couple of hours.

I wanted to use the pool however there was a rag in the water and it looked like it hadn’t been serviced while I was there.
