Ramada by Wyndham Viscount Suites Tucson East

I do not recommend this place especially if you have kids. I’ve never felt so stuck before. This was my first time traveling with my kids and I paid in advance with no refunds offered. I spent $600 for a place that was dirty, smelled and had no air to our room. The first room we got upon arriving was on the first floor and the bedding was damp and the room smelled like sitting water. Completely outdated. We got moved right away to the third floor. The room smelled nothing like the first one and was a little more updated but was still dingy. I ended up getting fans that costed me another $60 just to have some kind of comfortability. It was a very uncomfortable stay. Staff doesn’t seem to care about the rooms or their conditions. One of the cleaning people had explained to me that they have “drip rooms” rooms that just sit with water … that explained the first room they tried giving us. Even the pool area was dirty. The bathroom by the pool smelled up the entire gym area as if someone peed all over the floor… I really wish a refund was possible because I would have taken my family elsewhere and enjoyed the stay and felt comfort. This place was nothing like the photos online. I’ve never been so disappointed traveling.

Very run down smells moldy. No modern c convenience to charge phones or devices by the bed unless you move the bed and unplug lamp, walked into a dark hotel room no switches by the door could not see then when light on no switches turn on the light in the front area. refrigerator door would not close. Breakfast was hot and the standard. room was hot.Nothing happens when you try to adjust.

The breakfast was ok but the rooms were clean and quiet.

1 st room assigned to us room 209 we walked right in and right out the mildew smell covered in cigarette smell instantly gave me a headache and although the staff were friendly, kind and helpful they were short staffed and 2 nd room had no smell had new floors but beds were hard sheets towels are old and dingey, no ac or ac not working that night and to top it off pool was disgusting, dirty and smelled like old water no bleach, definitely would not recommend

Location was perfect, in the middle of the city, everything is close, staff was very nice and friendly

It’s a convenient location for what I need to do and a good value at $85.

The hotel was a bit run down and the rooms (especially the carpet) were not as clean as I would expect.

Rooms were dirty. Carpets were stained and blood stain on wall. Outdated and dirty air filters . Not a healthy hotel .

Now the bad: I found nothing bad about this property. The Wi-Fi was a little spotty but I used my hotspot. I did notice they don’t clean every day but I never want my room cleaned while I’m there. Finally the ugly: this is an older property and it looks like an older property but my room was a true suite- with a separate living area- a fridge- microwave and coffee pot - all for this price. I don’t care if the mirror is new - the amenities for this price are amazing!

I was happy to see they have been doing some maintenance on the rooms. My room was clean, and as always I love the place for it's quiet night.

The rooms needs renovations, bathroom walls are falling apart. The sink in the bathroom was tied by a towel.

Update

The property was really nice and the lady at the front desk was really nice and went out of her way to try to make things better. I liked that there was a tv area separate from the sleeping area in the room. Property has swamp cooler and the room wouldn’t cool down. Smell of the room was stale and very humid. We tried like 8 different rooms and the swamp cooler didn’t work

Room was warm. Five days into our stay we let them know and a maintenance man fixed it. Then it was great!

Front desk lady was very nice and helpful and helped whenever my family and I needed anything.

Very surprised and pleased by the value of this hotel and its presentation. Its location made it difficult to find at first, but nonetheless it's visible from Broadway once you see it once. The signage out front needs a little help, though. Overall, great layout and beautiful atrium interior. It has well placed exit and entrance doors around the building for the convenience of guests, as well. Our state was quick, but it was pleasant and would absolutely stay again. Very little if anything.
