The property was very nice, I wish there was more light since the pools were open late. The hot tub is very small . But overall it's a beautiful place with a great sunrise and sunset

One of the most beautiful resorts and rooms we have ever stayed at. My only criticism is the resort fee. I hate resort fees. They are duplicitous (you get charged whether you use the facilities or not—-therefore they should be included in the quoted price or not charged at all).

If you want to experience complete serenity in a pristine garden landscape, then this place is for you. My wife and I celebrated our 41st wedding anniversary in one of the two king suites. We stayed.for.four amazing nights dining once at the Terraza during happy hour and twice at the Grill. While the dinner options at the Grill are much fancier, the food at the Terraza was also amazing. We shared the fried calamari with jalapeños and a couple of glasses of Chardonnay that was part of the Happy Hour menu. My wife ordered the tacos while I had the flatbread with prosciutto. As for the Grill, we switched to a local wine, a Château Tumbleweed by Miss Sandy Jones. This was so good, we also enjoyed it at both our dinners in the Grill. Our meals were an order of the scallops with mushrooms as an appetizer to share. These were amazing. My wife had the crab cake appetizer as her main while I had the king salmon. The salmon is made differently every week. This week it was soaked in a bourbon glaze. The second time, we both went with meat dishes to celebrate our anniversary meal. My wife started with the escargot as an appetizer. While these were not made in the traditional way served in a cup with plenty of garlic, she still loved them. These were more cut up already. I had the Southwest corn bisque soup with chicken. Our mains were fabulous as she went with a petite filet with mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts. We had a second floor room and the only view from our balcony was through the overgrown trees directly below our balcony. If we had a first floor room I would have walked right out. The food in the restaurant was acceptable but well over priced for the dishes offered. If I had it to do over I would have dined off property,

Hacienda Del Sol was an excellent place to vacation. The only regret my wife and I shared was that we should have booked longer than our 4-day stay.

Rooms were clean. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The weather was nice. Unfortunately only one of the three pools was clean. Our meal at the Grill was great. The view of the sun going down from the poolside was picturesque. We highly recommend Hacienda del Sol.

The property was fantastic! Very well maintained and clean. The room was comfortable with nice beds and a huge bathroom. The shower was amazing. The view was amazing. Would absolutely come back

A special shoutout to the wine sommelier, who was incredibly knowledgeable and made our wine conversation both fun and educational. The chef also deserves real praise — every dish we tried was excellent. We happened to be there for the Labor Day Luau, and it was a highlight of the trip. The food was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor, and the tiki drinks were perfectly balanced — boozy in just the right way without overpowering the taste. Hacienda del Sol is a true gem, and I highly recommend staying there for anyone visiting Tucson or locals looking for a relaxing staycation.
