Royal Sun Hotel & Suites

We were moving our daughter into UofA and this location was fantastic. The room was big and it was clean. We will definitely stay here again.

it was very good the only issue is that wifi doesnt work for none of us

The place was ok, it was clean, but the door kept sticking and it’s just an old property. Toilet kept running unless you jiggled the handle. Nowhere to get water after hours

Really nice place.

we had to switch rooms the first time because our tv wasn’t working, our new room the AC didn’t work. i contacted the front desk and was told to wait 15 minutes - 1 hour for it to get cold. it never got cold and my family slept in a hot room. i decided to deal with it since our first inconvenience was already irritating to deal with. i didn’t wanna switch rooms AGAIN.

They had signs for No Smoking and there was a lot of smoking nearby and not just cigarette smoke, but the other one as well. There was a lot of noise during the night where people would get there and park and start honking and blasting their music. In the room one of the TV's didn't work and we didn't have towels in our bathroom.

Front desk was supper friendly. We got there early and she went out of her way to make sure our room was ready and that we were able to check in a little earlier than 3pm.

The shower curtain was too short water leaked on the floor besides that it was amazing thank you hotel staff

Clean room, comfortable bed, courteous staff, ample parking, easy check in and out.

The à/c was not to my liking, it was a bit warm throughout my stay. Toilet paper should be double stacked regardless how many people there are in the room it’s a must. Other than that, I would recommend it to everyone who wants to see the this area.

Woman at the front desk was very nice and helpful, had a problem with the first two rooms and she upgraded me to a king size room. Very quiet and the bed was super comfortable, great night sleep. Would definitely stay again.
