Converted motel into a retro art deco-type hotel/motel. Stayed here 2x and no problems at all. Great value and will stay again if the rates remain.

Clean room; very friendly staff

The room was clean and new and comfortable The staff were extremely helpful. We arrived very late. we had let them know and they were waiting for us. We were only there one night. If we have a reason to go to Tucson again we would definitely stay at the University Inn

When I pulled into the hotel, I had my doubts . The outside is a little dated but the room was renovated. The amenities like the room decor and TV were top notch. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the bathroom was clean. The staff is as super friendly and helpful. I would stay there again and recommend others to do so.

This is an older budget friendly drive up motel very close to Arizona University. The property seemed clean and well maintained. The room was updated and clean. Nothing fancy but clean, comfortable and economical. I would stay there again.

Staff was kind and hospitable and provided me with free water. Aesthetics/decor updates of the room are fun. The area is dangerous, and has little walkable. A person who is unhoused and struggling banged on the hotel doors at 3am yelling about fire and saying “you’re going to die tomorrow!” I was staying at the hotel to attend a conference and got very little sleep for an important work event. The beds smelled like body odor.

nice clean, quiet room, close to freeway, area around hotel is a bit sketchy but we have stayed at University Inn many times and had no problem, we will stay again
