Red Roof Inn Tucson Downtown – University

Central location near the University of Arizona, Downtown, TUCSON, and easy freeway access

This place was swarmed by homeless and drug addicts. It was extremely dangerous and felt very unsafe. I would not stay at this hotel. Stay somewhere closer to the university. The staff was very nice and helpful about the cancellation though.

Lots of homeless couldn’t sleep because of the noise with their carts. Guy with a gun walking by our room holding a gun. Dirty and lots of Homeless

we do not have a working TV and when we reported it to the office, they did not do anything about it so we did not have a TV all night there were drug addicts, knocking at my door, every hour asking for drugs, cigarettes, and money

This hotel didn't change my towels for 3 days and when i requested new towels. They told me I had to wait until ten a m the next day, the t v also did not work or the phone to call the front desk

Nothing Drug deals in CARPARK! Reception tried to blame me for damage already in room before check in. Told me it was my responsibility to check for damage in arrival Horrible experience. The front desk is the rudest, and seemed to stereotype me. I booked online and paid for 1 night & said I didn't have to pay anything at the property. So I get there and he tried to charge me 200 for incidental, and when I told him that was ridiculous. He denied me entry, and called the cops on me. Not to mention in a bad part of the city. Said I would get a refund and nvr did.

This is a great place for the area everything is close by,they only thing this place needs to work on is turning away the drug addicted drug dealers and all these poor drug addicts they allow to Rome around and hang out by stairs and sidewalks because the fentanyl smell was very strong,Maybe hire some security just remember not all money is good money
