Hillstone Inn Tulare, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Simple parking. Need streaming in the room.

Breakfast room was very crowded. We got a room for handicapped folks. The shower heads did not work. The air conditioner was noisy.

Clean rooms

The room was clean, there were enough towels and bed is comfortable, However, Breakfast ENDS AT 9am apparently!!! I got there at 9:05 and the receptionist told me it closes at 9am, BUT Expedia and Google says it ends at 9:30am!!!

The room with two queen beds was clean and provided enough space for three guests. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, and parking was available close to our room. I forgot an item in the room, and the hotel staff kindly sent it to me, which I appreciate very much.

the hotel is nearby restraunts makes it convenient for eating its in a good location right off the freeway the property is nice and well kept with security so its very safe the beds are big and comfy the room is well cleaned daily housekeeping is great with asking if you need anything and the front desk staff is awesome love the manager laura and also the rest of the staff is very great at their job as well love this place in general they are always my first choice in tulare county

The reviews are accurate- this little inn is fantastic. Our room was so nice. The bathroom was modern and clean. The beds and pillows were actually comfortable and gave me Westin vibes!!! This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at.

Everything is very convenient. Staff is very outgoing willing to help. Yeah. Free breakfast. Everything is great.

Homelessness

Hotel was pretty nice honestly, the only thing is the parking area to me i didn't like so much. It wasn't closed off meaning anyone can drive from one side of the streets through, i was a little worried about my car.

My main complaint was the cleanliness of the floor. I understand that this may not be a luxury hotel, and I did not expect everything to be spotless, but the floor was dirty enough that my white socks turned black after walking around the room. I was traveling with a little one who loves to walk around without shoes, so we went through all of our socks on the first afternoon and had to buy more. At one point, I almost wanted to grab a Swiffer and clean the floor myself. Aside from that issue, the hotel was decent. The staff, breakfast, and location were all positives, but cleaning the floors should definitely be a higher priority.

Wonderful hotel- very clean and well appointed. Staff is lovely. Breakfast is OK- could use more fruit choices and yogurt. Highly recommend!!!

The reception staff, they are all great. Housekeeping is at your request, she change the towels, but doesn't leave another roll of t.p., did not swept the floor. Place property is well maintained, unfortunately there's dairies around the area and in a hot windy evening the smell it's terrible 😫. I locked my door and turn the a/c full blast
