Best Western Airport

The dead bolt locked my son in his room and the maintenance/cook guy eventually arrived to tell him thats just the way the lock is. This could have been a life threatening situation. The lock needs replaced! The ice machine was broken. The breakfast tasted like mold (obviously hasn't been clean in who knows when). The breakfast was the worst frozen microwaved eggs and sausage. The front desk tool personal calls on speaker phone while checking us and others in. Not emergency type stuff, leisurely type calls, like what do we want to eat etc. Just pay another 20.00 bucks and stay somewhere else.

Worst place ever to stay. Rude staff, hidden charges and no refunds if you don't pay up.

This seemed to be more of a trucker's hotel. The room was basic but comfortable. The building looked old and outdated. There is a Subway attached to the building and it does have a washer and dryer for guests to use. The gym is basic, one treadmill, one eliptical machine and one multifunction exercise machine that was out of order.

I called noonish to see if my son could check in for me bc I knew I was going to be late (1/2 am). I was the only one who could check in & was assured late check in wouldn't be a prob. Great! I get there & there are 2 guys in line. I don't know if/why the 1st one got turned away. The 2nd one had a cc in his wife's name. I know from being a FD trainer in the past, that's a no-no. Before I went in, I saw the hotel charge pending on my CC. The FD clerk tells me I have to pay a $100 deposit. I give him a CC and ID, he makes a copy, asks about # of guests and pets& proceeds to tell me that he has to run the entirety of the room charge plus the deposit. Give me a sec, I pull out my phone and show him the pending charge. In my mind, they ran audit, so that's why the charge was taken. He tells me the res wasn't prepaid. I understand. But you already processed the charge, so I just need you to run the dep. He tells me the room charge and the dep have to be on the same CC, he can't run them on separate CCs& the CC has to match the one in the res and my ID. I can show the CC in the res. I have it. You already have the room charge & should only have to run the dep on this CC. He tells me he can't do that. They HAVE to be on the same CC. I don't know what PMS BW uses. I've trained in Opera, Fosse, Choice&Hilton. I know how to split payments between CCs. Pending can be processed or released. He was adamant& it was late. He said he could cx the res & refund my $. I said ok and left.-sigh-

Over all it was a good stay but breakfast ending at 9 seemed early especially for our family being on vacation.

There was zero maintenance & upkeep. Broken toilet seat, air conditioners were froze up & making a horrible racket. Stains everywhere, walls, carpets. Fish hook found in carpet. Don't stay here!!

Awesome staff

We got an affordable price on the rooms through booking.com Your staff is rude, and seems to spend most of their time sitting at the pool, smoking massive amounts of pot. They let their friends and family come in and eat breakfast and use the pool, making us, the guest, uncomfortable in using the pool. The washer and dryer are a mess and leave black stuff all over the clothes! The dryer vent is not attached to the wall and when we told the staff, they did nothing about it. They appear to be giving rooms to their friends and family, and they stand around smoking pot and being rude and dismissive to the guests! Tonight, Friday the 26th, an older white lady, who works at Subway and has been at the front desk, is sitting at the table outside the pool, with about 10-15 of her friends, smoking pot and letting her dogs poop all over and not cleaning it up! So we dont feel welcome to go down and use the pool. The older couple that work the breakfast area and do other things are not nice people. Ive had to deal with the lady at the front desk and she is not friendly or polite. Last weekend, they had about 5-6 of their relatives up here using the pool. None of them were guests at this hotel. The family members have been back several times. Its not good when the pool area is being used as your staff’s personal entertainment center and the guests cant get near it. The breakfast area- we have been here for several weeks and there has never been cranberry juice, you can hardly get milk, the eggs are disgusting, and the sausage is barely cooked. We go down to eat and none of the tables have been wiped. We look around for the older couple that are supposed to be working the room and they are nowhere to be found. The black gentleman working the front desk tells paying guests that they cant take food out of the area, but then people that he knows, he lets them do it! There is never any toppings for the yogurt and there is never any more than 1 packet of oatmeal available. Literally 1 packet, not 1 flavor of oatmeal. The cereal is stale.

The room was clean, the location was quiet and safe and convenient to the highway, the lobby was spacious.

Easy check in My fridge was broken and ac unit was dirty so i cleaned the filters.

Would highly recommend. Staff is super helpful and nice.

They wouldn't let me check in with 2 dogs. Supposedly their policy is only 1 dog. It was not noted on hotels.com.
