Best Western Airport

Had a subway on sight. It did not smell moldy like most in the area.

The room seemed clean and the bathroom was clean but I spilled ice on the floor and wiped it up with a wash cloth which turned really dark from the dirty rug.

The lady that checked us in was very friendly even after we found out that we had made a mistake and booked a smoking room she got us into another room was told that there was a 50$ deposit and for changing rooms a $20 dollar charge I now have a $92 dollar charge a $50 charge and a $20 charge from the hotel when the first room was 52$ and the with the 20$ charge it should have only cost 72$ There was a wet wash cloth in the shower and there was cob webs in the corners of the room the bed spread had big dark stained spots on it and at breakfast the front desk lady and subway lady and a older man sit at a corner table making rude comments about guests the breakfast food was not good the eggs were cold and the sausage tasted very old and dripping with grease the potatoes were dark brown like they were burnt and the juice was watered down

Room was for the most part clean. Housekeeping staff was very helpful and courteous. The front desk staff seemed inconvenienced each time I asked them a question— or even if I was sitting in the lobby just waiting for my uber/lyft (I ended up just standing outside, even when it was raining because I felt very unwelcomed sitting inside). I also did not like how the amenities listed in the features for this hotel were not available— which were why I booked the spot in the first place. For instance, on the site, it says there is a complimentary shuttle from the airport to the hotel. When I arrived to the airport and called the hotel to ask about it, they told me there was no such thing and to call an uber. The other thing that was a little lame about their amenities was the continental breakfast—- while it has waffles, cereal, etc. I found it interesting that as a paying customer to the establishment that I could not take my breakfast to my room. Like, if I wanted to get a yogurt or a piece of toast and save it for later, I couldn’t do that. I’m usually up a little later and prefer to eat a little later, but the breakfast was a way to save money during that trip and I felt like staying there was not accomplishing that, and therefore was not worth the value. I will not be staying there again.

I noticed some homeless people in the neighborhood. Otherwise the room, breakfast , parking etc . were good.

I had booked a horrible, horrible hotel in prior. Do not stay at the Econolodge there and the folks at best. Western stepped in with Expedia. It took care of me and got in my room no problem. They were absolutely amazing special shout out to Susan who was manning the desk about six something last night thank you.

Nothing they sprund a surprise deposit on me when I arrived then demanded to keep my physical debit card while I was staying there.
