Southern Comfort Hotel

this was by far the worst experience I have had through Expedia. this place cannot be called a hotel. its a flop house. there are drugged out extended stay people. milling around, harassing the patrons and the place is roach infested. I rented three rooms, there were condoms on the floor, and in the bed of my sisters room. no towels were available in any room, no toilet paper, no waste basket, nothing at all. 1/2 of a shower curtain and just overall nasty, smelly, and very very unsafe. There was no TV in the rooms, people wandering around talking to themselves having what can only be seen as mental episodes. just plain and simply YUCH. the owners were of course understanding of the awful feelings we were experiencing. I slept in my car. my brother slept inthe room. my sister left and went to an inlaws house due to the condoms in the bed and on the floor and the roaches crawling the walls and int he bathroom.. they provided me back money for the second night we did not stay but even though I paid for insurance, we were not refunded the 2 rooms that I did not use and my sister did not use..

As soon as we walked into the room we noticed the Ac unit was falling apart and the door broke as soon as we opened it. No towels or toilet paper in room sheets were stained really bad, bed falling apart, large gap in the door where outside air and bugs were coming in.

The room was dirty and smelled of pot and smoke. The bed had a dirty spread and a one only very small and dirty pillow. The bathroom had no door, no towels and no toilet paper. It looked and smelled like a drug addict had stayed there. We recommend you take it off your hotel list. The pictures provided do not represent the true conditions of the rooms. We had to go stay at another hotel. Would like a refund !!

This Hotel was disgusting. There was pee all over the doorway before I even opened the door. The mattress was so nasty, I just can't even! The TV didn't come on. The carpet looked so dirty. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone. It I could I'd give -10 Stars.

Rooms half clean. Need major updates to everything. High traffic illegal activities spot will never book there again. Even if its another last minute thing I sleep in my car

Room had blanket with cigarette burn holes, saw 1 live roach, had to ask for toilet paper/towels. Toilet seat was not attached, a/c unit had no cover, shower leaked and shower curtain being held up by zip ties. TV didn’t work, refrigerator had mold…..

there was no TV no trashcan, no towels no washcloths no soap shampoo the floor tile coming off they charge you $1.50 for extra toilet paper. The room do not look like it in pictures and deadbolt, lock was broken in the door didn’t lock all the way

This hotel should be torn down the rooms and the area is horrible. I plan on contacting the health department on Monday morning in regards to the condition of the entire site.

I had the absolute worst hotel stay in my life at your hotel. When I checked in my room there were no sheets, towels, blanket, or tissue. I had to ask twice for blanket and sheets, twice for towels and toilet tissue. After waiting an hour and a half on that the housekeeper at the clock I stole the stuff. Then to top it off there was no TV, microwave nor ice box. Throughout the night I had to fight off roaches in the bed. The room and walls looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months. I asked Expedia to try to transfer me to another OYO location. But since it was after 3:00 but I couldn't check in till 3:00 they could not transfer me to another OYOhotel. If I did change hotels I would have lost the money I paid online for that OYO hotel location. There were people who look like they were drug addicts and or homeless hang around the hotel. People are standing outside my window talking loud, arguing and playing music all times of the night. I have a small dog and every time she heard someone I woken up with her barking throughout the night. So I hope you post this or even read it and make modifications to your location.

The curtains did not hang or close properly, the bed only had a sheet the TV did not work no toiletries. The room was filthy. Could not initially get the door open the front desk attendant had trouble getting it open as well but finally did I could not stay. I ended up leaving so I paid for a room in which I was too uncomfortable to stay in.

No this place was disgusting it's the most disgusting hotel I've ever been in there was roaches everywhere stuff on the walls the sheets and blankets were not cleaned The sinks were dirty it was terrible like I've seen bad hotel rooms but this was horrible they ended up having to move us from the two rooms we rented to one different room because it was so awful in those two rooms The manager was even apologizing about it told us he would give us a refund and then denied it the next day even though we paid for two rooms and only stayed in one and the one we got moved to wasn't clean the TV didn't work The microwave was on the floor broken The lock on the door was busted the latch lock the regular log on the inside was exposed and showed all the electrical wires there was no toilet paper it was horrible do not recommend do not stay here also felt like avery unsafe area cops were out there all night long it was a horrible experience
