Such a quaint little hotel! Awesome location, great bar, beds were comfy! We saw bears from our balcony. We will stay there again.
-
Great location and have a very comfortable room to enjoy the beautiful view from the nearby creek!
-
Great location and cute rooms- we faced the river and its was nice and quiet. Would have been nice to have a minifridge in the room or at least an ice machine in the hotel. We were told we had to go to the attached bar to get ice which wasn't very convenient nor open all hours. The check in staff was nice- the restaurant and bar staff weren't nice at all. And the food at the restaurant very mediocre and overpriced. The included breakfast was pretty basic- mediocre at best. Hot tub is indoors only.

Excellent located right in Vail Village. Enjoyed dinner at Pepi’s right at hotel. Breakfast was excellent. Had to park at central parking but walk was short. Don’t try to drive to hotel to drop off luggage because you’ll drive thru pedestrian zone.

Great place to stay. Beautiful king bedroom overlooking creek. Bar with live music on site. Free breakfast was good.

Very centrally located,

Everything was wonderful but wish they had AC for the hot summer nights

The receptionist was on the phone for quite a bit when we arrived and made no acknowledgment that I was standing right there. I foundhert behavior rude and unwelcoming. At breakfast, while we were eating, there was a woman cleaning all the tables and chairs with a toxic smelling cleaner. We had a balcony room on the first level and saw lots of garbage behind the hotel. I would not stay here again.

Wonderful property right in the heart of the village. Front desk was very nice and helpful at check-in. It is an older property, no AC but there was a large fan in the room which was nice. Slept with the windows open which was relaxing to hear the trickle from the creek all night, it was a warm summer night but pleasant. Room and bathroom were large! Steam room, hot tubs, sauna, gym, all seemed very nice. We didn't use but it would be nice to use the hot tubs in the winter after skiing all day. Would definitely recommend!

Parking/pulling up to the front was not the easiest. Nice place but a/c was not the best, overall good!

The parking was nonexistent. I wish the property had been more clear on that, as you need to park in the Vail parking structure as they only have so many spaces available. You don’t know it’s full until you drive on a very busy pedestrian street to the hotel, only to be told RUDELY that it’s full, park in the structure! Vail parking is $45.00 per night…also there is no air conditioning. So windows are open but people on the streets until way early in the am.

Being centrally located was nice for walking.

We appreciated the staff member who helped us change our room. Thank you! We would have loved AC and/or a small fridge.

The Hotel Gasthof Gramshammer is a classic Vail hotel. It was there when I first skied Vail which was a long time ago. Our room was above the dining/lounge and there was loud music until after midnight. It was unseasonably warm at night and an old mountain hotel does not have air conditioning. It was a warm noisy night!

Pepe’s is in one of the best locations in the town vail. It’s minutes from all the stores, bus service and one of the chair lifts to access the mountains. The hotel rooms are nice, the staff is professional. The hotel has nice continental breakfast. The lunch and dinner menu menu has authentic German Austrian meals. The bar is nice as w

No A/C pretty outdated! Beds were too soft

Excellent choice in Vail Village. Nice room. And nice hotel amenities. Friendly and helpful staff. The location couldn't be better (they got there first in 1964). All in all a great experience.
-
Unique hotel in the heart of Vail with shopping, dining, nature walks nearby. Feels like you are in an Austrian/German guesthouse with interesting decor, flower boxes and generous breakfast in a nice setting. Friendly staff.
