Staff was decent Hard bed, banging so hard it shook the walls and our beds all night. Got no sleep

Very clean, fairly spacious (our double room had a desk and a chair), everything is in good condition, wifi works, quiet location. There is a swimming pool - we haven't used it, but we saw other customers using it. The breakfast includes good quality yogurt, oatmeal packages and fresh fruit (in addition to pre-packaged honey buns) When we were checking in, an older lady at the check-in counter was rude to me: we arrived by bicycles and tried to park them, she wasn't happy with where we left them in the first place (which I suppose is fair), but communicated that in a sarcastic and unhelpful manner, without offering alternatives. We later found that there was a good place to leave them behind the building, and it would have been very easy for her to suggest that, but she wasn't interested in being helpful. Other staff members we met afterwards were friendly and polite, though.

The hotel is old. The room smelled like cigarette smoke and the TV quality was bad. Would not stay here again.

Disappointing

The staff was absolutely wonderful. They were absolutely wonderful. I enjoyed the conversation and the attentiveness to everyone with which the talked. Especially the young teenager who got his first cup of coffee ever in his life. He turned on the coffee maker which dispensed coffee all over the counter and floor. They teen called for help ad staff responded quickly.. She gently taught him the difference between the coffee maker and the coffee dispenser...for next time. She was great! Also when we checked out at 11 we were on our way to chicago. I realized while up there I had left my toiletries in the bathroom. I was returning home from Chicago and stopped in to see if they had my bag. It was sitting behind the desk. I thanked them and was on my way home.. long day but the stay was wonderful.

Staff was friendly, room was clean, including bedding.

The woman at the front desk offered me a different room, but the only one available was not large enough for my family. She provided us with some clean sheets, which we changed ourselves. She told me that I was the third person who had come to the front desk that day to say that my room had not been cleaned and that it was a regular occurrence there. STAY AWAY!

Exhaust fan was really loud

Good location Our room smelled of mildew. The bathtub and sink needed to be cleaned. There were spots of something on several different spots on the walls.

The bathroom and the bed were clean. The hotel was run-down. The staff clearly didn't want to be there. He said to another employee when we checked in, "If somebody else comes in here and says they have a reservation, I'm leaving!!"

The lady working front desk was super helpful! If not for her we wouldn’t have been able to find the place. there’s a lot of construction around the hotel and I’m not from around here. She knew the streets like back of her hand and told us how to get around construction!

No elevator to get to 2nd story. Lugging luggage and the climbing carpeted steps when it was hot and humid outside.

Front desk staff very helpful Bathroom needed updated

The staff was friendly and competent. It was the noisiest room I can recall ever renting. The upstairs renters could be heard walking, the A/c unit was noisy. The folks in the nexy room could be heard. The breakfast was continental, at best. Nothing hot. Also, this was the first time in years that I have been in a room that had NO USB ports. I had to get my computer out to use those ports to charge my phones.
