Super 8 by Wyndham Valparaiso

The staff were friendly and helpful with ideas for restaurants. If we come this way again we will certainly stay at the Super 8!

Room was clean, staff helpful, pool sketchy & breakfast was a miss but I would stay again. Good price

Pool could use some work. Toilet in our room had to have been a toilet for kids. It was terribly low. Need a greater breakfast selection. However, room was clean and tidy. Bed was a little hard for me, but a good mattress with soft pillows.

Brandon the clerk was very helpful. There was a good atmosphere at the motel. They had an indoor pool and families were really enjoying it.

My room was clean and easy to get to. The bed was good and the shower worked well. My only problem concerned the breakfast. I was fine with the yogurt, fruit, packaged pastries. However after I made my oatmeal, there was no milk. I didn't want to use the powdered creamer. When I asked at the desk, there was no milk available. I wish I had known before I made the oatmeal.

Great location, staff was friendly. Lots of places to eat near by. Convenient and affordable, met the need for the night. The mini fridge was COLD. Kind of froze our drinks a bit, but we didnt mind at all. I have stayed here many times without and complaints this time my room was very stuffy and smelled a bit musky before I turned on AC, but it didn't cool as well as I had expected. The beds were NOT comfortable at all, they were VERY HARD, no cushion at all, so we didn't sleep well. The rest room was clean but had a dry dirty wash cloth draped over the shower rod, I think whoever cleaned didn't see it up there. The faucet for the tub was very tricky, it was hard to get the temperatures right. Overall, it was ok for the occasion since we didnt get back to the room until after midnight and was out early.

Place was well priced but could definitely use some upgrades. Breakfast was not tempting.

Nice enough for a visit, but nothing spectacular. Some employees were excellent, others were terrible (the man who checked us in was one of the rudest employees I’ve ever seen; he didn’t smile and barely spoke to us). The breakfast was adequate but unremarkable. The room was clean but there were maintenance needs. Overall, it was the definition of a “middle of the road” hotel.

I just wish they had wafles and eggs. But you're not going to get that for the price that I paid.

I absolutely loved the location. There are restaurants all around. It was central to everything. If I am spending $100 a night, I think there should be a hot breakfast in the morning. Not just a continental breakfast.

This was our second stay at this hotel. Our room was clean and the staff were very friendly.

Easy check in, affordable price, room was clean. It was the only accomdation available. Shower did not work well, beds were so hard we slept poorly. It felt like a inexpensive extended stay hotel.

Property was over run with noisy work trucks very early in the morning
