Gjelina Hotel

We loved staying at Gjelina Hotel and will be back. Wonderful staff and very clean and comfortable rooms!

A hotel for travelers who want a beachside vacation without feeling like a beach bum. The bed was quite comfortable; although the light switch system took some getting used to, I appreciated being able to turn on room lights from my bedside. Gjusta Bakery croissants (with rotating jam flavors!) made for a cosmopolitan breakfast, and the rooftop terrace provided a well-shaded spot to stretch out, read, and take in the beachy scenes. I appreciated that the staff double-checks (via email) if you want housekeeping to stop by when you put out the “do not disturb” sign that morning.

My stay at Gjelina surpassed all expectations. A lovely escape for my 50th birthday and so worth the extra splurge on the King Suite with a bathtub. The room so well curated, the view perfect. An overall memorable stay. Thank you!!

I feel like we did not receive the best experience as when we were leaving we over heard a new guest being told where their restaurant was and a voucher to use. We had not been told this in the 4 nights we stayed so that was a bit disappointing. Overall it was a nice hotel with limited facilities in line with a 2 star but they cleaned our room every day which was very nice. The bed was not as comfortable as I would like but this is very personal but I got to sleep nevertheless. You are on the beach in a short walk and it is very well located. The room is very small but very nicely decorated.

Partnership with the bakery was perfect. We enjoyed our visit to the cafe and taking advantage of the free vouchers from the hotel, along with other items. Courtyard suite was perfect for our family. Extremely spacious and elegant. Shower didn't drain well. Otherwise, no complaints.

No parking at the hotel was inconvenient. Front desk staff wasn’t very kind.

Location is terrific! Staff were extremely helpful. The suite was nicer than the pictures suggested. Not the hotel’s fault, but the room next door was up all night and making noise.

The hotel was extremely gorgeous, had a rooftop with stunning views of the beach which is steps away. The size of the room itself was small for me, which I did not check for that when booking. However the room was gorgeous, beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable and entire hotel was very clean, steps from one beach and a short walk to Santa Monica Beach/Pier…

High-end finishes and thoughtfully designed rooms. Rooms were very small, was difficult to store luggage anywhere, this could’ve been solved if the bed was higher and we could’ve slid the empty luggage underneath.

As a gluten intolerant there wasnt anything for me to eat. I personally dont think it should be called breakfast, but instead coffe/tea and pastry. Small rooms, with no closet etc hard to navigate bags in room.
