Gjelina Hotel

Easy in my Top 3 Hotels ever. I almost never give 10 Stars but this hotel deserves it. Perfect location, super comfy beds and the nicest staff one could think of. Fresh croissants for free every morning, free coffee and fast wi-fi. The rooftop has nice views and the lobby feels like home, as well as the room itself. Thank u so much Gjelina team, we'll be back! -

The staff was so accommodating and kind, the location is perfect, the room was very clean, and loved the breakfast with fresh croissant :) I wish we had a small fridge in the room, but that's all.

1) if you happen to rent a car, there is no dedicated on-site parking. It was a really a non-issue, but you may spend an extra 3-5 minutes finding parking. As a solution that has probably already been thought of, I would like it if there was a valet service that collaborated with a local parking area/structure. Additionally, having a space to load-unload that is primarily reserved for Gjellina patrons would make the arrival process slightly easier. Street parking is really easy to find. If you can navigate a Traders Joes parking lot, venice beach parking is a no brainer. 2) the humidity outside is the humidity inside. Maybe i was doing something wrong. There is excellent ventilation, but my swim shorts never really dried. Still a non issue, they were dry enough. IRRRregardless, i highly recommend staying here. The staff is friendly, the welcome cookie is fire, and there a lot of little things that are worth discovering yourself. And dudegirlbrosis, the location?!!! Nothings beats it. Also, beware of coming here for beach music festivals, the city might cancel them because of “weather” and not ticket sales.

Great place to stay

Breakfast was delicious - croissants from Gjusta bakery, preserves and honey, coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice - and very appealingly presented. Shaded garden patio and rooftop patio for hotel guests was beautiful and private. The proximity to the water was perfect. Hotel employees were very helpful and respectful.

Excellent location, especially for exploring Venice and the surrounding area. The neighbourhood is lively, walkable and full of restaurants, cafés and shops. The hotel itself has a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are really tiny, even by Los Angeles standards, with very limited space for luggage or moving around comfortably.

everything - it’s a cute boutique hotel, very nice and small in a perfect location. good value for money, outstanding design. room has a scent that I liked a lot. beautiful terrace where you can have your breakfast croissants and coffee. was not easy to find from the start and nobody opened the door.

We loved our weekend getaway in Venice at Gjelina Hotel. They sent very easy to follow instructions on where to find nearby parking and the location was fabulous for walking to many restaurants. Loved the rooftop deck at night and the coffee and pastries in the morning.

We absolutely loved the small boutique feel of the hotel and the beautiful kitchen area in the suite was so useful with children

Location I booked and paid for a Queen Bedroom Suite and was allocated a small double room for the two of us and really only enough room for one, very disappointed it was very uncomfortable
