Venice V Hotel

The room was just terrible the skateboard room the floors were roughed up like concrete. The toilet seat was not tight. Only one small trashcan in the bathroom no coffee you did have espresso. Overall the amenities were lousy. The valet parking was too much. The homelessness was everywhere outside the hotel. Very noisy outside even after 10 PM. Police were involved two nights out the week we were there bites in front of the hotel lots of drugs going on.

Room was clean - very small for the price. The shower is literally part of the bedroom with clear glass where your roommate and people outside (if the blinds are open) get a good show. The beach view was excellent FROM THE SHOWER so paying extra for that seemed a waste. Staff was great - valet parking great and very needed in the area.

Close to everything in Venice Beach Unpretentious Super helpful team Loved the bikes rental I found out there was a rooftop at the very end of my stay, and there is no bar or restaurant at all

Only reason 4 stars because it was clean and the staff were nice.

I stayed in a beachfront room. It is literally right on the boardwalk. What a fabulous view! The location is excellent for walking around Venice Beach, Abbot Kinney Blvd, and the canals! It was comfortable and quiet. Highly recommend!

The friendliness of the staff is the highlight of the place They could have a few more beach umbrellas

Hotel is in what appears to be an unsafe neighborhood but it is well protected and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.

Not really convenient to be in a location surrounded by homeless people. The room was decent but the tissue box was empty , the shampoo bottle was almost empty. The shower curtain had hair inside. They advertise having beach chairs but they didn’t had the available for us. I appreciate having beach towels available. Front desk personnel was very kind.

The treats inside were delicious and the fridge was stocked with a variety of good drinks. Good location and I would def stay again next time I go to Santa Monica.

We had an amazing stay. Everything was exceptional Proximity to beach, excitement, good wifi, food options, secure building and parking. People were nice and helpful If I had to choose I wish it was at least 50$ cheaper for one night stay. But I dont regret it and we will still come back to visit if staying in the area
