Hotel Erwin Venice Beach

If you want to stay in Venice Beach this is the place - great rooftop bar. Steps from the beach and lively nightlife. We had a wonderful stay!

We appreciated no charge bicycles which normally cost $28 for half a day. Plus, we were able to grab some towels and beach chairs for the day.

the staff was incredibly warm and friendly. fantastic location right by the water and restaurants. nightclub was loud at night, was hard to wind down and relax. could hear trolley carts above our room all night wheeling around.

Perfect location to the beach and the famous Venice boardwalk. We arrived much earlier than our check time and were very pleasantly greeted by a lovely lady and were told our room was ready which kicked-off a brilliant weekend. The room was super spacious and had a very comfy bed and huge oceanfront balcony that we spent a lot of time on. Dinner on the rooftop was spectacular as was the food. Complimentary breakfast was included and we really enjoyed the patio and the offerings were perfect. The hotel offers complimentary bikes, beach towels, sunscreen, basketballs, paddle tennis, volleyballs and more. We loved our time here and will certainly be back.

The size of the rooms, the location and the rooftop 1- price of the valet (far too expensive and a complimentary parking service would be a great service). 2- included breakfast which was a shame (very small choice, no room to sit). Actually, one cannot consider that there is a complimentary breakfast)

There was no breakfast even if you have paid. Oh yes, just coffee and muffin. For this price go and take better hotels in Santa Monica. I have paid more than 400 USD for one room and car (73 USD for parking). Hotel and room is 3 stars equivalent. Noting special, small beds. For this price you can get four stars hotel in Santa Monica with luxury. Less homeless people and considering family safer and better (less drugs and and homeless).

Enjoyed the people working there. Everyone very accommodating from the front desk to the valet and the very personable breakfast chef and staff in the morning.

I booked the ocean front suite with one king bed and the beach view was amazing. Our room was on the 5th floor and had an outside balcony that faced the ocean. We had a small gathering in the evening and the room comfortably fit 8 people on the long sofa. We ate at the rooftop restaurant Kassi and the food, drinks and view were amazing. I definitely recommend making reservations ahead for Kassi because it gets very crowded on the weekends.

LOVE this hotel! We have stayed multiple times. Staff is SO accommodating, rooms are immaculate, and the views are spectacular!

Friendly staff, nice roof top bar Right next door to 2 night clubs who played load music until early hours. Not a peaceful place to stay if you are looking for the quiet.

Great location. Lovely roof terrace but private function meant our access was limited. Great they offered free bike rental to explore the area. Breakfast was very average. Rooms average but as expected.
