The Inn at Venice Beach

The room was fine stayed in the loft suite. The room stayed cool downstairs but upstairs in the bedroom was very warm at night

The staff is always wonderful and attentive. I have been staying here a few times a year, for a few years now, and it’s always clean and they are always accommodating if we need anything. Wonderful location also! Everything was really wonderful

We arrived late at night. I didn't realize they didn't have breakfast. (That's on me. I only search for places that serve breakfast, so not sure how this got past me). Found the price to park in their parking lot extremely high. The room was very nice. Very clean. Had a nice balcony overlooking the courtyard below. Very disappointed when we left that the elevator was out of order. We were on the 3rd floor (and we're seniors) and had to carry all of our luggage down the stairs.

Location Bit noisy

The staff were professional and welcoming, and the room and bathroom were clean. The main issue was the persistent noise from the bars across the street, which continued late into the night. Without earplugs, sleep was impossible. The room’s insulation seemed inadequate for such sound levels. For this reason, I would not stay here again.

Great hotel, awesome location, walking distance to everything.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk from Venice Beach. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, which was really convenient. Even with all of that around, the area was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The room was great: very clean, modern, and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. The parking fee is $38 nightly. It wasn’t an issue for our one-night stay, but it’s worth considering if you’re staying longer. The fee is clearly stated in advance, and we preferred leaving the car there as it felt safer and more convenient than street parking.

Staff was super nice, rooms are good. Proximity to the beach is perfect, maybe a 2 min walk. Lots of food options nearby and a convenience store a minute walk away. They provide beach towels as well. Parking is great but costs a little extra. AC works great too.

The boutique hotel is ideally located for venice beach area. Our room was very roomy and comfortable. Beds were comfortable and the open courtyard was nice. Unfortunately in the middle of the first night, power went out in the hotel due to a damaged transformer behind the hotel. While the outage was not the fault of the hotel, they did little to keep guests safe and comfortable. There was no lighting in the stairways, which had to be used since the elevator wasn't operating. This would have been a serious safety hazard if there was a fire. It was hot and humid, but we had no A/C, no lights and no hot water for over 24 hrs. We were told multiple times that the power would be restored at various times, but it kept getting delayed. The hotel management has so far not been willing to offer compensation for the inconveniences and should have offered to pay for folks to stay in another nearby hotel until the power issue was resolved. I also found it distasteful that they were checking in new guests and NOT telling them that the power was out. Nice hotel but very poor customer support during the unfortunate situation.

Amazing staff. The elevator was out of service when I visited, which was a bummer but other than that I really enjoyed my stay here.

but unexpected neighborhood power failure was chaotic & dangerous. No evidence of emergency plans on site. No lighting was provided in pitch black stairwells until 24 hours into outage, staff didn’t have much info to share but would have been helpful to notify confused guests.. ‘no hot water available, safety strategies for navigating pitch black bathrooms, etc’ I understand power outage is not in Inn’s control, but we’re hopeful for at least no charge for parking, since cost for 2 nights in dark & no shower was not cheap’
