Venice on the Beach Hotel

Superb

Location was perfect. Right on the beach. Sort walk to all the vendors and activities on Venice Beach The rooms are on the small size. My room was outside of reception. You hear conversations. While I reserved parking some guests did. Need to make it clear, there is limited parking. Difference between limited parking and having to reserve.

What a beautiful spot! You cannot get any closer to the beach! I misunderstood and thought that they had beach chairs and umbrellas that you could take to the beach. They do not. That is my only knock on the hotel.

I liked that it had a porch overlooking the beach. 1. There are 16 or so rooms and 5 parking spots. If i had known this i would not have booked. You can find a spot on a side street if you are lucky but once you have one you'd better not plan on leaving. 2. This place does not have a washer or dryer and its on the beach. If you plan on traveling with wet beach clothes this is the place for you. We found extra trash bags in the room so were able to pack our stuff in them for the plane the next day. 3. This is not ADA accessible. It almost killed me doing stairs i am not supossed to be doing. 4. The room thar my family of 4 was in was the size of my daughter's bedroom. Roughly 18 by 10. The 2 queen beds that were advertised were actually full sized beds. It was the most uncomfortable night of my life and we paid over $400 for it.

The location is great and the staff is great. The property need some TLC. Furniture old, shower old, carpet old, umbrella outside many are broken.

Location was exceptional. Great balcony for sunsets. Real Venice beach experience. Room had all we needed and was comfortable. Would of stayed longer if we could - great spot, great value. Everything was great. If I had to say something, maybe the TV was tricky to work, but very minor.

Good location minus smell of urine all down the street. Parking is impossible unless u arrange it with the motel. Had to ask for soap and wash clothes. Floors were very dirty. It felt strange with normal house doors instead of hotel doors. No coffee. Was told there would be a fire pit but I went outside in evening to have a drink and sit by the fire but there wasn't one. Common space was really dirty. Think they are doing bare minimum because it's on the beach and will sell out. No woman in sight. Just two different guys that manned the front desk some. No one was at desk for morning checkout. I found a cleaning lady and she pointed me where to drop the key.

Great view of the ocean. Location was walkable to shops and beach.

I really enjoyed it! My husband did too! We will be back! Loved how close we were to the beach because I hate using public restrooms so it’s nice to just walk 1 minute and go to your hotel room.

Excellent location. Right on the beach within walking distance of many restaurants. Needs updating.

Excellent location!

This hotel is beautifully located right at the beach. The only issue is limited parking. So, As soon as you make the reservation call to reserve your parking place.

Location is perfect right ON the beach. Two minute walk to Washington blvd where there are a lot of restaurants/bars etc. Hotel has a very nice rooftop and a comfortable outdoor area with couches on main level overlooking the beach. Room was clean, bed comfy and I was happy. You get a real beach experience staying there.

It’s a small and charming hotel in a prime location.

Great location on the beach, and friendly staff. Rooms were dirty and damp smelling. Towels were tiny and rough and stained.
