The Venice Beach House

Room was too warm. Had to use an additional fan. Television didn’t work.

Beautiful and elegant home with lovely decor and very comfortable beds. Staff (especially Holly and Lina (sp?) were excellent too. I also loved the section of the beach we were on, it was quiet but still had great amenities. I didn’t realize there was no staff onsite overnight. At first this was a little scary since we are two women traveling alone and shared a bathroom. However the guests were all great!

We loved the Venice Beach house. The staff was so friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was wonderful. That the floors were a little creaky, cause we didn’t want to disturb the people underneath us.

Very comfortable bed and great location It would be nice to have a chair with a decent light to be able to read

Beautiful, historical home converted into a hotel. Melted into the bedding, so comfortable! Fresh baked pastries for breakfast. Right by the beach.

Location, character, vibe

Charming historic hotel, cozy breakfast area. On a quiet street literally steps to the beach and Venice Pier. You open the gate into a green garden and another era. Welcomed me with a fresh-baked scone as I signed in. Staff couldn't be nicer.

Breakfast was very small

The staff was very helpful and pleasant, our bathroom was exceptional and the breakfast was very good. I think the inside could use a bit of sprucing up.and windows cleaned. Most b&bs offer an afternoon tea or cocktail hour this one did not.

It was lovely and surprisingly cozy

The grounds and building are beautiful and feel like a tropical escape within the city limits. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Both inkeepers were lovely but we mostly interacted with the female (i'm forgetting her name now). The room was very comfortable and there were tons of things to do within walking distance. My partner and I loved staying here and would definitely stay again in the Abbot Kinney room or to try a different room :) Not a major issue but the mini fridge is quite loud in the Abbot Kinney room and the freestanding closet needs to be dusted on top.

Comfortable setting. Friendly, helpful staff. Convenient location for walking and biking.
