The PRICE for Location, Location, Location! The view! The huge patio with seating to enjoy the view. The beds were very comfortable. Everything worked, tv, hair dryer, fridge with a freezer, and the microwave. Dislikes... Arrived about 30 minutes before official check-in time and we had to sit in the lobby until official check-in time. There was not a roll of TP in the room once we were able to check-in, not one square because there was not even a roll for a square to live on, so had to go back to the front desk for TP. There were only two bath towels for two queen beds, had to go back to the front desk to ask for towels. I asked for four, but got two. I was told no one has done laundry for there to be clean towels. We were never able to get more towels, so we hung them to dry, we were only there for two nights, so we made it work. We had a downstairs room and that hallway has a smell. Fortunately, though, that smell was not in our room. Would I stay here again? Definately for all the like reasons. We didnt hang at the hotel, we were there in the morning getting ready to go out and have fun elsewhere and came back in the evenings to wind down and sleep. There were some people that just sat on there patio watching the view from morning til night, so make it what you want for your trip.

Location is amazing! Easy and free parking, very walkable to lots of fun dining…really it was close to everything..marina, venice, Santa Monica, and a quick ride to LAX. It is an older property with a lot of let’s call it “charm”. If you are expecting new and glitzy, it is not for you..it is clean, decently maintained for its age, they have a staffed front desk, and a cute little coffee/tea station. No elevator but only 2 floors, walks out onto Mother’s beach which was fun for paddle boarding (rentals less than 500 ft away) which was fun checking out a few of the native sea lions.

Front desk Wes very helpful and answered all my questions. Very decent place for the price great location and room was very clean and even the bathtub was very clean. Mini fridge and microwave in every room which is helpful. The only negative is that the walls are thin and other hotel guests were noisy and we could hear them talking from outside patios and upstairs we were downstairs. Overall perfectly enjoyable and bed was comfortable also! Easy parking also.

Clean but no breakfast

The staff is friendly. The Saturday farmers market was excellent and only a 3 minute walk from the Foghorn.

All I needed was a parking pass so the lady was fairly nice, so I could go off and bicycle ride around the area for the day. I asked the lady at the front desk if there was a restroom that I can use at the hotel and her response was there was no public bathrooms that was odd. I came back at 2:30 to see if I could check in because the night before I called and the gentleman who answered the phone told me anytime after 2:30. I could check in if rooms were available so the same lady who helped me in the morning was still there and she came off rude telling me no there was no rooms available so then I came at 4:00and so oddly people were already checked into their rooms. I was up at 4 AM that morning drove from San Diego County so I was beat by the time I got back at 2:30pm so finally I checked in at 4:00pm went to the room. A gentleman at the front desk at check-in was very polite instead of the woman that was there in the morning. Overall, the hotel needs to be revamped and if you have allergies to animals, I would not stay there room 108 smell like animal it was heavily deodorized and the floor was sticky next to the headboard and the desk my flip-flops were sticking all over in that area. I was hoping it was only pet slobber.Parking lot was free to park there.

Great bang for the buck! A 90 second walk from a Cheesecake Factory! The only issue we had there was my fault, so I have nothing bad to say about them.
-
Property very outdated but location good. No food available on property. Order through delivery from outside source. TV unable to connect with new movies or current sports being played. We could not watch the World Cup. Cleaning service for room has to be specifically requested by night before and even then at 2:00 PM they had still not shown up. Linens and towels never changed. Made our own beds. Had to ask for soap in the room and extra towels since towels were very skimpy and not particularly absorbent. Would not stay there again unless my budget was extremely limited.

Great location with a nice marina view

This is a gem hidden from the noise and the traffic of LA. Great views from the balcony and the walking areas around the property are great. Easy 1 mile to Venice but not part of the circus
-
Staff were nice. Other than that, should have stayed at the Marriott a block away. AC didn’t work well; the place saw better days about 50 years ago. Pretty convenient location (within a mile of Venice boardwalk and harbor) but definitely a discount stay.

Nice view. Great location to walk in LA. Close to Erewhon and Venice Beach.
-
Cool place, in the beach but very old hotel with minimum amenities. Towels are dirty, room carpet is stinky.
-
The staff was friendly, the location is great, and the coffee, tea, and hot chocolate bar was a really thoughtful touch. The shower fixtures could use an upgrade, but all in all it was a good stay for the price, we’d happily stay again.

Bad service all round very dirty and rude
