Not pleasant. She could have said I’m fortunate we don’t have any rooms available for early check-in at this point but she did not. She just was not pleasant enough so that it makes us think about not staying at this hotel the next time we visit Vicksburg. We have stayed at this hotel numerous times in the past, this is usually our go to hotel here.

The price point. The room was gloomy & dark. Rm:113 I felt safe and the coffee was good.

Room had a weird smell, and the cabinet door that held the refrigerator kept swinging open, causing an obstacle to walk through the room

Didn't like anything about the place. Didn't like anything about this place. The room smells and the beds was not clean.

The first room I got. I went up to it and someone was on there! So they had to change me to a different room. I booked for a king but got a double bed!! Wasn’t happy at all

Everything was as I expect to find a good hotel. Clean, things worked, and the morning breakfast service was good.

It was a horrible experience. Dirty rooms, elevator did not work and staff was not helpful at all.

Not well maintained property, elevator not working and cleaning staff poorly trained.

My only regret is that I didn't have more time to spend in this delightful hotel, due to prior commitment and brief stay. This most excellent staff could not have been more friendly or accommodating for my brief, but important, journey to Vicksburg! Extremely clean and well-appointed room and hotel, safe area and excellent parking, easy check-in and out combined with very fair pricing guarantee that I will be a return customer very soon! Thank you all, lovely Staff.

Unfortunately, the customer service could have been better. When we checked in, there was a situation at the front desk involving a customer who was concerned about a vehicle parked in a handicap space. I understand customers are not always right and that situations like this can be frustrating, but I felt the employee could have handled it more calmly and professionally. Saying that it was “not a big deal,” discussing the situation with other guests, and using inappropriate language made an uncomfortable first impression. The coffee was also disappointing, and we ended up buying coffee elsewhere. I have stayed at several La Quinta locations, and I’m used to having good, fresh coffee. Overall, the location and Wi-Fi were great, but the customer service experience and coffee could definitely be improved. I hope management takes this feedback constructively because a friendly and professional first impression can make a big difference.

We were assigned our room on the 3rd floor, upon exiting the stairway there was an immediate smell of mold/musty/mildew. We enter our room which has an overwhelming musty smell. Turn on the lights to find a cockroach crawling across the TV stand. We inspect further and find another one crawling on the floor across the carpet. There was also visible mold on the wall next to the bed. We leave the room and go to the front desk and are assigned another room. This room had no roaches but there was visible mold on the bed frames and the room smelt musty like it had been wet and had a wet feeling. Would not recommend.

The elevator was out, when I asked the clerk how long they would be out, she said til next week. The carpet smelled horrible, had to go to Walmart and get carpet freshener and air freshener as well to help with the smell.

My husband and I stayed at La Quinta in Vicksburg MS for an anniversary getaway. When we arrived we were told that the elevator was not working, our room was on the 3rd floor. We decided to go ahead and stay. The next morning my husband (75) was having trouble breathing and going up and down the stairs. I spoke to Antino at the front desk, he said they could possibly move us to the 1st and that the manager would be in around 7, I could talk to her about getting us moved. I spoke to her ( Mikala) and she said she could get us moved if a room became available and to check with the front desk between 12 and 2. I checked back around 12 and was able to change rooms . We stayed Sept 18 thru 21 and enjoyed sightseeing around Vicksburg . Very big THANK YOU TO ANTINO, MIKALA, KIANA AND OLIVA for all the help with changing rooms and dinner suggestions Sunday night
