Hyatt Place San Diego/Vista-Carlsbad

Room was not clean, asked for sheets to be changed never happened. Rug and some sheets had stains, mirror was dirty. Normally dont have issues not sure what changed.

The breakfast was good; I just wish they had waffles and pancakes !

We loved our stay here. From the moment we walked into the lobby for check-in, the staff at the front desk were super nice and professional. After we checked in, he informed us of breakfast hours (M-F 6-9 am, Sat-Sun 7-10 am) and pool availability. Our room was exceptional, clean, and spotless! The hotel also provided shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom. Beds were very comfortable. We also loved having an ice machine on our floor (4th). Breakfast was top-notch! Plenty of choices: eggs, potatoes, sausages/ham, tortillas, French toast or regular toast, yogurt, fruits, cereal, juice, coffee, hot chocolate, and milk. Our kids enjoyed having breakfast every day. Aside from the pool being cleaned every morning, it is also heated! Parking was plentiful, although there was a sign at the front desk informing guests that a $10/day parking fee would now be charged, which started back in June. We recommend this hotel for business or pleasure, couples or families. We will stay here again for sure!

Fast service for anything I needed.

I requested extra towels, but they didn’t arrive until the following day. Housekeeping also never serviced our room during our stay, and some of the housekeeping staff came across as rude. Our second night was especially frustrating. Our kids were already in bed, and we were getting ready to go to sleep when the fire alarm suddenly went off. It turned out to be a false alarm, but it was still very disruptive and inconvenient, especially for families with young children. While we appreciated the friendly front desk staff and the cleanliness of the room, the lack of housekeeping service and the false alarm made our stay less enjoyable.

Housekeeping wouldn’t make the beds if there were blankets on the bed. They told me they could not make the bed because of items on it. So having younger children I thought maybe it was stuffed animals. Nope it was blankets. Blew my mind, front desk rarely answers the phone. Cleaners took towels from the bathroom but didn’t replenish them. Which is annoying but would have been ok if I didn’t need to call the desk many times to get more towels.

Great location it was clean and had a really good breakfast. And the staff was friendly. They never had towels at the pool and then when you would ask, they sometimes wouldn’t even bring them or it would be like 40 more minutes before they brought towels

So I went to stay there for 2 days for my daughter's birthday. Upon check in, I was told by the staff that the parking was additional per day. I said when I booked it on expedia there was parking included. They waived it. Next in the room, there were spiders in the bathroom coming in and out. We managed to kill one of them. They must come from the non functioning air conditioning vent because they have wall units. Then one of my daughters found a piece if a condom wrapper that doesn't sit well with us. We quickly dispatched of the wrapper. Since we did not book directly with the place, they cannot do anything as far as compensation. We just prayed none of my kids discovered anything further.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt it was a short drive to most locations. The pool and hot tub were great for relaxing after a long day.

The pull out bed was not comfortable and was dusty. My granddaughter had rashes when she woke up.

Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night a.c did not work some type of compensation is needed I’ll reach out more.

Great location Our room smelled like animal urine.

Fire alarm went off for anlot of time, firemen and all, like a movie. Unable to recoup my sleep after, I keft at 5:30 next day on 23

Breakfast was great! More seating seemed necessary though. Our room only had 4 bath towels even though our reservation was for 5 people.

Confortable beds, super friendly staff, spacious and clean rooms,fun pool, and great breakfast.

The location is fantastic, but our room felt quite dated. The furniture and bathroom are in need of a modernization or a complete refresh to match the quality of the property's surroundings.

The hotel was very nice & cleaned. The had such a great breakfast every morning
