Holiday Inn Carlsbad by IHG

We come to the area about once a month and usually just book anywhere off Expedia but we will be coming here every time now! The hotel was quiet, clean, the outdoor games and pool were great. We also had breakfast there everyday and it was great and easy.

Everything was great except the AC noise. Very accommodating for 50+ group especially for the bbq area and pool service with the towels. Will definitely be coming back

Everything was great despite not having the guest complementary freshly baked chocolate chip cookies.

Clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet spread.

An excellent place with daily cleaning.

The service wasn’t as friendly as my previous visit. I had to wait while the representative finished a personal conversation, and there was also a billing error that needed to be corrected.

The room was clean, BUT unfortunately we got bed bug bites. I took extra mattress covers and still got bitten. The staff was alright, some were very helpful and kind and some were the opposite.. I would say that maybe train the staff and clean the beds better..

Liliana was very helpful and very personable. All staff we encountered were nice but Liliana was A++.

Wonderful

Room was very clean, no smell and very comfortable. When asking for amenities the staff was promptly responsive. We ordered from the restaurant, was not disappointed, was delicious. Nice pool area and basket ball court. Great place for kids to hang out. Negatives: if you get a room near the stairs you will hear people walling up and down (all night long). The bathroom shower door was not easy to open did not slide smooth and made a loud noise. Forgot watching TV on down time, very poor selection.

Good and convenient place to stay near LEGOLAND

The experience was very scary, the receptionist gave us a room that is occupied so when my daughter opened the door a man appeared then the nextday we went to eat breakfast the male hispanic hostess ignored us no customer service.

Great room, comfortable and clean. The front desk provided a chair for the shower since my partner is handicapped. The restaurant was excellent. Parking was plentiful and the location in a relatively safe area. Within 15 to 20 minutes to major free ways and attractions.
