Hotel was advertised as having a in-room safe which it did NOT have. Would stay again as it is convenient for our needs to visit family. The King 1 bedroom was spacious. Did not get around to try out the pool or happy hour.

The continental breakfast was just right !!! We enjoyed starting the day off w/the free breakfast. The rooms are updated, quiet, and exactly as depicted. We love the walk-ability of going to dinner on foot across the street to the Eureka, as well as Del Lusso Pizza which were both FANTASTIC !!!! The pool area at Staybridges is very nice, and the staff was friendly !!! We truly loved our stay at the StayBridges, and we will be back in the future !!! We loved the free solar-covered parking that provided shade for our new vehicle !!! All together, it was an awesome stay !!! There is an "ant" problem at this time of year in Carlsbad, so we understood not to freak out over them,,,,, but there were quite a few in our room (which didn't turn out to be a problem). We appreciated the staff and the signs in the elevator informing us of this problem. One of the two elevators was out for the entire four day stay at Staybridges, and on Sunday, the 2nd one also went out. We were on the 3rd floor so it made it a pain to run up to the room over and over,,,,, this didn't matter to us, but we saw a lady on a cane that was complaining that she wasn't going to be able to take the stairs over and over. The one elevator was repaired by the end of the day, so everyone appreciated having access to it again !!!

Front desk is friendly Elevator is not working, having to use the stairs, was not fun at all. I’m handicapped and so is my daughter, bathroom toilet not working properly?

We stayed here last minute, because our vacation rental didn’t have any AC, and it was just too hot during the heatwave. We were hot tired and cranky when we arrived. The staff were awesome! They were kind and accommodating, and we really appreciated the warm welcome. I don’t think the photos do the rooms justice. They are even nicer in person. Comfy beds and pillows too. And cold A/C! Haha

My kids had a blast in the pool late at night. They have a nice fire pit and a basketball court. The staff were super helpful and honored our requests.

Room is clean. And AC was nice and cold. Great size room for the value. Great location close to food spots and shopping center.

I have been coming here for years and I was deeply saddened how they prioritize this property for dog owners. The whole facility smelled like dogs.

I was recommended & it was a great stay and staff.

2. The breakfast area is also hot and humid with no A/C or airflow. 3. Same issue in the lobby and the common area. 4. There has been only one working elevator since we have been here, with no sign of the other one being repaired. No A/C. 5. There usually is a long wait for the one working elevator.No information on if or when the broken elevator would be working. There was no information about when the broken elevator would be working. 6. The heat and humidity in the one working elevator is stifling. 7. We were told that parts to repair A/C were coming from China, and would take two weeks to arrive. 8. I find it impossible to believe that there is only one A/C unit to cool three floors of hallway, all the common areas, and the lobby. 9. Unable to use any of the common areas due to no A/C. 10. To make matters worse, on the seventh day of our eight day stay at this Staybridge, our room became infested with swarms of ants. We did not stay for day eight! 11. Extremely disappointed and expected better. Paid a high price for a horrible stay.
