Candlewood Suites Waco by IHG

Large spacious room. Super comfy bed. We didn’t use kitchen but well stocked and would have been great had we needed it. Really clean and perfect place to stay for the price. Quite a bargain actually in comparison to similar hotels and very nice overall.

NOTHING THE SERVICE, FROM THE FIRST MOMENT WE WALKED IN THE ROOM WE HAD THE SMELL OF DOGS IN THE ROOM, WE CONFRONTED THE FRONT DESK AND SHE HAD NO SOLLUTION FOR THE PROBLEM, WE HAD TO BUY LYSOL AND SPRAY TO STAY THE FIRST NIGHT. THE ROOM WAS SO DIRTY FILTHY , AIR CONDITION MADE NOISE WHERE WE COULD NOT SLEEP. NO PROPERTY MANAGER ON SITE NO MAINTENANCE PERSON ON SITE. THE SERVICE WAS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE, OUR TOILET CLOGGED AND WE WERE TOLD CONFRONT THE PROPERTY WE DID SHE SAID WAIT TIL SHE HAD TIME TO PLUNGE THE TOILET. AWEFUL EXPERIENCE ….WILL DEFINENTLY BE POSTING ONLINE HOW TERRIBLE THIS COMPANY IS MUCH LESS THE PROPERTY THEY BOOK ONLINE WITH.

Amenities, comfortable bed and easy access to freeway and businesses.

First room asssigned the aC was not working but we persevered the first night due to exhaustion and believing it just needed time. The next morning I called front desk and reported they stated they had no maintenance on deck and she could move me immediately, which she did within 10 mins. So outside of the first night the resolution turnaround was fantastic wish I would have noticed the AC when I checked in but we were out preparing for graduation the following morning. I’d like to be comped for the first day so if corporate could call or offer some incentive/credit to return that would be great

Booked a room last minute after realizing we’d be staying in Waco a bit later than expected. Very reasonable price and very accommodating for not having all of our essentials with us!

Clean room, close to market place shopping, and easy access to the interstate.

We have stayed here many times it’s always very clean and the staff is very nice. It’s perfect when staying with pets!

Not a true Candlewood. Repourposed hotel. Smaller than others. Furniture broken. Removed and never replaced. Seemed to inconvenience staff. Maintenance walked into room without knocking.

The hotel was clean, no maintenance issues. Extremely surprised by the large comfortable rooms. Full size kitchen and large bathroom.
