Candlewood Suites WAKE FOREST RALEIGH AREA by IHG

Fantastic location (next to Walgreens, Target, and Bojangles) spacious, great kitchenette, bed was comfortable enough. I could hear the neighbor's TV but it was muffled enough (can't make out the words) that it served as white noise and put me to sleep. The laundry downstairs was a lifesaver! The cleaning staff are the kindest and most helplful. The mirrors were excellent and helped me prep for the event I was in town for. The lights were bright white! If they were warm yellow, this place would be an instant 10/10. Also, the front desk was unmanned for a good while in the morning of 9/22 Tuesday and I had no one to inquire with before rushing to the airport.

We have stayed at the Candlewood Suites in Wake Forest several times and it is consistently outstanding! From the front staff welcoming you to the manager who always has a kind word it continues to be our first choice when visiting family. The accommodations are fresh/clean and updated. The bed is extremely comfortable, kitchen and bathroom are constantly stocked with top products. TV reception never fails. Besides the outstanding upkeep within the rooms the hallways are always vacuumed and clean alongside the elevator. The gym is excellent and the coffee/tea area with snacks to purchase are well stocked. Excellent value for your money! In addition, this location is very close the great food, gas, drug stores and major stores along the highway.

My room was very clean and I got alot of work done, I only stayed one night. The only thing that shocked me was when I saw a small cockroach on the door. The room/carpet/hallways/reception area, etc is very clean , so I am assuming it came from outside. There is complimentary coffee in the lobby, but no breakfast. The room is equipped with a small kitchen, with pots and pans available. For those who don't like to cook, there are plenty of restaurants & stores within 5 minutes from the hotel. I highly recommend this quiet, beautiful hotel.

The hotel was about what you would expect. It was a solid 3 star type property. There aren't any upscale options in Wake Forest itself so we chose this since the hotel claims to be recently renovated. Overall the hotel was clean. We stayed in a studio suite that had a mini kitchen which would be nice if you had an extended stay. They supply free coffee 24 hours and have water and other items available for purchase.
