The place was clean and the staff helpful. Need some more gluten free options on the rooftop.

I never got a text went back to the desk at 4 to check on what was taking so long and was told the same thing waiting to be inspected and told to go buy a coffee and relax and they'd text me when it was ready. Still no text at 4:30 went back again and finally room was ready. The guy barely said sorry about the delay and then tried to act like he was doing something for me by giving me a free drink card that they were giving everyone to celebrate their 10th birthday. Really bad customer service, felt ignored like I was annoying them to keep checking on my room because they're system never texted me.

Overall I would stay again but completely opt out of anything to with restaurant and pool. If you have kids and want a pool this is not the place for you because it’s just a small adult soaking pool which would be perfect for a couples stay but unfortunately the kids who do go in it take up most of it. So if you like quiet or a calm soak it’s not for you either.

Property was in a great location for what we wanted to do, close to Amtrak. Staff was kind and the hotel was clean.

The property was very good and clean. The only problem we had was getting back our refund from deposit of $140. I called the hotel repeatedly with no progress. Very disappointing.

From the moment you walk in the door the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is modernly elegant, smells so good, and well appointed. The rooms are super clean and functional. We stayed at a different hotel in the area for a few days prior to checking into the Arlo, and what I really appreciated was the electronic charging ports in the room. Our first hotel barely had a plug in to charge devices (without the plug falling out because it was so loose). I would absolutely recommend the Arlo. It is close to Metro bus and rail stops and a quick walk to everything you want to see. If I get back to DC again, I would definitely opt to stay at the Arlo again!

The restaurant waa under renovation. The food selection wasn't robust in the rooftop bar and staff seemed uninterested in providing service one might expect of a typical dining experience.

We wanted a more boutique hotel experience and this was perfect. Staff were beyond helpful, allowing us to store our luggage for the afternoon when we came back through DC days after our checkout. Gave us a complimentary upgrade, which was very much appreciated. Breakfast was delicious. It’s a ways from the metro and not the most convenient to the major landmarks and museums, but the service is second to none.

This place was awesome! Could see the capital building right outside our bedroom window from the 9th story. Parking was in a garage across the street and was easy to access. For reference we have a 6.5 bed pickup truck with a crew cab and parking it is a bit of a pain. There WERE spots available that worked in the parking garage without being too much trouble.

This was truly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. The location is fantastic, and the hotel itself is incredibly stylish and beautiful. Everything feels new, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the check-in process was quick and convenient. The rooftop pool was a fantastic bonus after a long day of walking around Washington, DC. It was clean, relaxing, and exactly what we needed at the end of the day. I also want to give a special shout-out to the chef at the rooftop restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, and the view was fabulous! Having dinner with such an amazing view made the experience even more special. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

Room and amenities were excellent. Rooftop restaurant services were okay-waitstaff seemed a little aloof.

Great experience! Beautiful and clean room, with a lot of natural sunlight. Great service from staff. Good positioning in the city so I was able to walk over to places I wanted to visit easily.
