The room was spacious and clean. The coffee in the room was good. I didn’t get my monument view as I originally paid for. It was a view of a building and street. I also didn’t get a high floor room as I requested. I was charged a $32.00 breakfast food item to my room that we didn’t purchase. By the time I noticed it on my bill, I was long gone.

Nice hotel, but the parking is on the high side. I think if I’m paying a resort fee, there shouldn’t be a parking fee and we not on an island.

Friendly professional staff. Best onion soup I’ve had. Room was clean and well appointed. I love tile/engineered wood - no carpet (except under the bed). Everything worked. Quiet at night. Bar stools are tilted too far forward - it’s a thing. No one likes it. Everyone talks about it. I made new friends over the stools. Yankees won, so it’s Ok.

Location and decor The check-in process was horrible. The rep stated that we owed $300 but the booking.com site stated there was a $37.50 per night hold so we were under the impression this would be $115 maybe $150 for the entire stay. They acted as if they couldn’t read the clearly stated fee we would expect to pay onsite whereas there wasn’t anything sent to me through Booking.Conor Sonesta themselves which stated this $100 per night fee. Then the rep was very condescending. I was completely put off and don’t know if I would return

Aside from an elevator malfunction when we arrived that stranded us in the top floor until a kind member of the staff walked us down some stairs to our floor, this hotel was great.

The location was centrally located to everything we planned to attend. The staff was friendly and very accommodating to our requests. No major complaints other than the typical cleaning misses that I see at other hotels specifically in regards to hair. I saw hair strands in the shower and in some of our towels.

The rooms are large and very clean. The bar and restaurant are beautiful. That I stayed only 1 night.
