It was really nice in quiet area.

One thing I did not expect is the hidden facility fee, which is not mentioned in the booking process. I was told about it at checking in.

Always book the breakfast with your booking. Less complicated

Not for families or older! We gave this hotel a try because close to museums and beds looked cool, but were very disappointed. The best comparison is a carnival cruise. Staff was terrible, beds were uncomfortable, doors slamming at 3 and 4 am, and guests appeared more to be locals looking to party at the pool not visit DC museums. Got there early so went to desk to see if room was ready, but stood there while 2 reception women chatted with the bellman and ignored us. When they finally finished they acted like we were inconveniencing them. WHen we gave our name, she immediately replied gruffly that checkin was at 3 and it was $59 to check in before that. No offer to have us leave our bags- we had to ask and by then no one could find the bellman. The first night they slid a VIP coupon under our door saying we had $20 credit at the restaurant - we tried to use it the next morning ( breakfast is buffet only), but the waitress rejected it saying they must have run out of the free wine coupon and it was a mistake (seriously?). We tried to use the rooftop pool, but it was packed full of singles in their 20s and early 30s, with hip hop blaring and every empty lounger had a ‘reserved’ sign. Once again, staff wouldn’t speak to us. Elevator had the trash and water drippings from the pool partyers. Definitely would not stay here again. Would gladly go somewhere that wants my business and staff doesn’t act like they resent my presence!

I really enjoyed the room. It was a different vibe was definitely the raised headboard electronic headboard is pretty cool. Love the LED lights throughout the room change and that was pretty dope and didn’t be able to get the free gift. That was nice as well. Nice touch. The rooftop pool was pretty cool with the snacks. Overall it was a good experience. I like it. I’ll be visiting them again.

Had an unpleasant welcome experience at check-in with a rude hostess. Plumbing in the room was poor; the sink was constantly backed up and there were gnats and fruit flies coming out the drain.

Miss Dewan was a phenomenal help. I can’t thank her enough for making my first trip to D.C. an unforgettable one. Whenever I return, I will be sure to look for her. Thank you Yotel D.C.!

The resort was nice especially for the price. The only thing I did not like was the unnecessary fees. The resort needs to do a better job managing the halls there were a lot of noise and playing in the halls until 5 am. There was someone who kept knocking on my door and running away laughing. Also, there were times our door handle was being played with as if someone was checking to see if it was opened. However, staff was very helpful especially the front desk lady name demure I could be spelling her name wrong. The pool area is nice and was one of my favorite amenities. I enjoyed having a microwave and water station on our floor as well. Be careful parking your car in the parking deck. Our car was hit and of course it was not reported. This resort is in a great location; I would stay again.

I feel like complementary breakfast should be included in your stay.

The hotel was clean and modern. Staff were helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a power adjustable bed. My only complaint was even though paying a “resort fee”(and it’s definitely not a resort), you still have to pay $28 for a continental breakfast. I did not eat it so I cannot comment on the quality of it.

Parking is too high and should have been included with the stay.

Booked three nights because of the rooftop pool , but it was closed for two days. Spoke with receptionist who assured me "Don't worry we take care of our own" in response to my request for a discount on the resort fee. Upon checkout I was given the Director of Mission Control's business card to contact for a refund. Mr. Ukeekwe never returned my multiple emails. Nonexistent accountability. Too bad. Hotel was pretty good.
