Great walking location to see alot of the sites in DC

Had a great stay, staff was great, room and bed very comfortable. great location in DC. would have been 5 stars but the shower was dripping the whole time ( yes, we let the front desk know two times). we finally put a towel in there to help stop the noise.

Looked after especially well by Brenda the receptionist. We upgraded the room and got a fair deal. Washington was amazing and the restaurant that Brenda suggested was super- Brazilian Steak House.

This hotel is delightful on every count. It will be our home in DC when we visit again.

The Phoenix Park Hotel was good for a weekend in DC as a solo traveler. Walkable from Union station. Felt very homey. Front desk was very nice. Room was small but comfortable. Quiet at night, comfy bed, good shower. Umbrella, mini-frig in room. Coffee/tea available in their "living room" on the second floor, no coffee maker in room ... they did run out of unflavored black breakfast tea on my last morning there. As a tea drinker I find that often hotels do not have enough plain ol' black tea for us tea drinkers. An extra $32 per night "facility fee" is charged ... this does seem excessive as the "facility" for guests is minimal - they did provide 2 drink cards for their restaurant The Dubliner which has Irish music nightly and is quite lively with good food. I would stay here again when nightly room rates were reasonable. Would not say here when room rates were high.

From the moment we got inside the lobby everyone was so friendly and welcoming!! Kayla greedy us so wonderful smile and welcome us to Phoenix hotel. She was nice and gave us excellent customer service. The room was cozy and clean. Enjoy the coffee and beverage station that was on the second floor and the restaurant that was an adult hotel. Everything was just great. I would visit this place again five stars all the way! All the staff was wonderful.

Great location for a visit to Capitol Hill. Front desk staff was excellent. Loved being above the Irish Pub for great dinners.
-
Close to the Washington DC Union Station and Capitol Hill. Old world feel. Very clean. Great coffee/hot drink setup on the 2nd floor. Staff were great and the hotel felt clean, comfortable, and luxurious. Loved the pillows. I would definitely think of staying there again on another trip to DC.

Smaller room and elevator, but well maintained and clean. Staff was very friendly. I appreciated the free beverage at The Dubliner.
