Phoenix Park Hotel

Location is tops. Just a block away from the union station and a few minutes to the National Mall. My welcome greeting was warm and pleasant. The room was a bit small… almost comparable to price and size of Singapore hotels (which are among the most expensive in the world) but it was fitted with what one needs. Access to a coffee machine was a great addition. I checked out at 6am and the staff was very helpful. The room was tiny.

Was very clean. Near by everything . Most of the time we could walk around the place we want to see .

Close to Union station & US Capitol. Loved the Dubliners restaurant - we ate breakfast & lunch 2 different days! Delicious & so convenient Pillow

The hotel was very convenient to Union Station. The rooms were very clean and spacious. And the Dubliner bar attached to the hotel was a great place for drinks and food

Clean room good staff all around and close to the hockey arena

Room was great. Loved the 24/7 coffee, hot cocoa & tea. Wish there was a pool or being able to access to another hotel's pool.

Next to museum and train station, walking distance A bit noisy during the night, cause of police car

Rooms don't have microwaves. that is my only complaint. However, there is one in a common area.

It was nice and clean. The restaurant below was good but made the lobby smell like fish. The bathroom didn’t vent well so it was overly hot/humid after a shower.

What a beautiful hotel with an equally wonderful staff! We had such a lovely stay. We arrived after a red-eye flight and took the train to the hotel, so we were exhausted by the time we got there. Brenda greeted us when we arrived, and she was absolutely wonderful—so sweet, welcoming, and helpful. She must have noticed how tired we were because she let us know that early check-in was available for $75. We happily paid it, and after traveling all night, it was worth every penny! We stayed on the 7th floor in room 717. The room was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The bathroom was nice, and the bed was especially comfortable. Our view wasn't the greatest lol, but that didn't bother us at all. We ate at The Dubliner restaurant and really enjoyed it. Having a good restaurant connected directly to the hotel was so convenient. One of my favorite things about the hotel was the beautiful sitting area on the second floor. They offer complimentary hot coffee, lattes, and tea throughout the day. I loved being able to sit there, relax, and enjoy a cup of coffee. Such a thoughtful touch! We also noticed the old-fashioned outgoing mail slots located between the elevators. You can actually drop your mail into the slot from each floor! I thought that was so charming and unique. Little details like that give the hotel so much character. I kept thinking that I wished our kids were with us because they would have loved it. We will definitely stay here again!

Phoenix Park was beautifully situated for us to explore Washington DC. Located near transit stops and if you're up to it, a reasonable walk to the Capitol Building. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely room, though a little smaller than expected from the pictures. Didn't leave much room for suitcases. Bed was very comfortable. Dubliners Restaurant was very good and conveniently located in the hotel. Overall a great place to stay.

Nice classic old hotel and very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again.
