The staff, the facility and our room was excellent. They were on-point. I would utilize other dining options. The wait staff was really, really slow and the food was below average. Our first dinner the waitress gave us our food and we didn't see her until we flagged her down 53 minutes later. Our second dinner we opted for at the bar and after he set us down he didn't come back until 18 minutes later. Very poor service. We walked across the street to YOTEL Art and Soul - 10 STARS. The food was excellent as was the service. Other Hyatt guests were at all the tables surrounding us. There is a reason Art & Soul was highly recommended. And, why we kept going back.

The Hyatt Hotel on Capital Hill was hands down an amazing hotel experience! 5 stars! We had an amazing time in DC and the hotel made the experience better! The hotel rooms are beautiful and newly renovated Very comfortable bed and clean. We were 2 blocks from the capital and with in a half hour of all other attractions in Washington DC. The hotel staff from the front desk people like Benedetta and others and the restaurant staff, bar staff and housekeepers were professional, kind, respectful and polite. They answered all questions and any concerns. I would recommend this hotel to everyone I know. Thank you!

This hotel went above and beyond. Staff was extrememly friendly and helpful. We ate the breakfast buffet several times, very good. Also, the bartender knows how to make a drink! Nice bar/lobby area. Always ice cold water in the lobby. After fireworks on the 4th many people arriving back at the hotel around 1:30 am were greeted with warm chocolate chip cookies and water and lemonade.

Quiet area to stay. Close to everything via Uber. You can walk but be prepared for 1 mile each way. The hotel did a great job as it was a holiday weekend.

Our stay at the Hyatt on Capitol Hill was the most enjoyable part of our trip to Washington D.C. for the 4th of July Holiday!
-
Everything was great. It was within walking distance of most of the things we wanted to do. I wish there was a little more variety on the restaurant menu. Other than that it was great.
-
For an extremely HOT holiday weekend, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate guests with niceties and treats all weekend.

Clean and beautiful property.

The e tea touches were amazing. This is our 2nd time to visit this property - it was very special this time with the little things that made everyone on our family comment so positively…such as rain ponchos for the fireworks weather; popsicles due to extreme heat; popcorn and cookies after the fireworks at almost 1 am. We had two rooms booked for 3 nights at approx $4k - my adult kids I think will always come back to this lodging when in DC.
-

I came here with my family for the 250th 4th of July. We had an amazing experience. The staff was excellent. They bent over backwards to ensure we had a great experience in the 115 heat all week. Supplied complimentary waters and ices for us and my daughter. The food was great. Highly recommend and will be back soon. Thank you for making memories with us.
