Embassy Suites by Hilton Washington D.C. – Convention Center

This hotel is perfectly fine. The rooms are spacious but not really all that clean, there were stains on the shower curtain and doors and a drink ring on the coffee table that was never cleaned even after service.

Walking distance to most attractions but you’ll want to bring your walking shoes. The commentary breakfast was fantastic with made to order omelets/eggs. Happy hour with two free drink tickets each night was a nice touch too. We’ll stay here again!

Otherwise I thought this hotel was a bit disappointing compared to my experiences at other Embassy Suites When we arrived, the room felt too cool so I adjusted the thermostat to a higher temperature. Unfortunately it seemed to ignore my heat adjustment and continued to blow out cold air the entire time we were there. On the thermostat, the fan settings were high, low, or auto (no off setting) so I was unable to stop it from blowing in the cool air. The suite was nice and appeared clean. Apparently the remote control for the bedroom television was either broken or needed a new battery. When we arrived there were used dirty dinner plates, etc setting on the floor in the hall outside the room next to ours. We were surprised that the plates were still there when checked out two days later. I felt the pool was a bit small and at the time that I looked at it was crowded with youngsters having a good time. In general I like Embassy Suites but was just a bit disappointed in this specific location.

We had a wonderful experience. The staff was wonderful. The establishment was clean and safe. It was a perfect location to see all the sites!

Everyone at this hotel was amazing! The breakfast and happy hour was great, they gave 2 alcoholic drink vouchers for over 21 years old and unlimited snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. The indoor pool was warm though tiny and the towels are the size of hand towels.

Great location, the property is good but could have some maintenance for looking better like remodeling somethings. I could stay there again. Perfect to have a private room in tue same suit

Lightbulbs out, safe broken, no extra toilet paper, housecleaning didn’t do a thorough job. Just left the ice bucket for days.

The room was extremely dirty when we checkedin, which was acknowledged by the staff. More importantly, we were literally harassed by the bar staff and the head of security. Do not even consider staying here if you want a peaceful stay.

The overnight for our rental car was a rip off, $73 per night.

check in was quick and easy, valet was super helpful, the bartender experience was not great took forever to get a drink and the indoor pool was dirty.
