Clean rooms, very accommodating staff! This location was walking distance to a lot of places!
-
Great location less than 2 blocks from DuPont Circle. Easy walk to metro, restaurants. Very comfortable beds, very clean, great shower. We were very happy and would definitely stay here again. Nothing

We loved Hotel Madera for its location in DuPont Circle neighborhood, the welcoming and cheerful staff, the clean, spacious, and comfortable rooms with nice amenities, view from our balcony, Sunday brunch, daily breakfasts, custom smiley faces on our lattes, fancy and unique cocktails, and good conversations with fun and personably staff in the Firefly restaurant and front desk, the hotel’s proximity to multiple bus and metro lines, and tasteful gardens and entryway.❤️ That we had to leave at the end of our vacation!

Room and view was perfect...it has a balcony! Feels like a condo instead of a box hotel. Hotel reception, warm and helpful. Great location, close to metro. Parking is available, but only valet. Street meter parking is available, but you'll need to make a few laps up the block to find one, but its super reasonable and just a shirt walk back to the hotel.

Cleanliness of the room. Pet friendly. Not on time for check in. We came around 4pm. Our bed is not available. But is just 14 minutes wait.

Great place to stay

A nice boutique hotel. My wife and I had a nice stay over a long-weekend visit. Madera is conveniently located to great restaurants and 10-min walk to metro stations in Dupont Circle. Hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. Rooms were modern and clean. Bed was comfortable. I appreciated the blackout shade and fan that stays on high (great white noise). Hotel amenities were also appreciated, including filtered water stations (including carbonated) on every floor and welcome cocktails at the adjacent Firefly restaurant. There were also complimentary bath robes, safe, and umbrella in our room.

It was good

Property located central to all monuments, White House and 20 minutes ride to Mount Vernon . Staff are helpful and friendly.

We loved this hotel and would absolutely stay there again. It was perfect for our needs and the staff was fantastic.
-
And room was so nice and the size unexpected...bed comfortable The staff very helpful Thanks to Ezekiel and Eddy Nice and helpful The air conditioning is too noisy
-
Staff is amazing at this property and all is well maintained. Just know that hotel fees are not included in the booking on Expedia and there are additional charges at check out. Metro station is close as well as bus stops.

I love this hotel this is my go too hotel everytime I’m in DC
-
Staff were very friendly, the room was large and well airconditioned Furniture was a bit dated , room a bit damp, the location is just that little bit too far away from everything that you want to see
-
Clean, updated and attractively decorated, very nice shower and toiletries, friendly staff, nice onsite dining No convenience items for sale onsite. I could hear a bit more noise coming from the hallway than I’m accustomed to hearing in hotels, specifically the sound of other guests’ doors opening and closing is loud.
-
I like location, room size, price and balcony We stay there every time we go to DC because of balcony, location and the room size - all is very good. This time we were very disappointed with staff - they were not friendly and helpful, especially when wifi internet was out apparently because of the rain and I had to go to a different hotel to have a hot spot and pay for my roaming on mobile phone.
-
Location, vibe, facilities, user friendliness, size of room and view Mid range hotel but as that, very good
-
Location and staff were great. That’s about it.
-
Spacious property with option for valet parking but have to pay extra for it
-
Close to most things and up to date facilities No pool on site or hot tub
