The room was very clean and well presented. The cleaning team did a very good job as it was always eimmaculate and well stocked when I returned to my room in the evening Lobby area quite small and crowded

Room was comfortable, staff very helpful, location was ideal subway 5mns walk away Shower a bit dated, don't like Shower standing in a bath with no handrail, danger of slipping

The staff isn’t great. It’s like you’re an inconvenience checking in. No one told us about amenities, about the hotel credit, the wifi, anything.

The spacious room was awesome and very comfortable. And really appreciate that the Hotel allowed an early check in given that i needed that rest. The staff in the Restaurant and the bar were very courteous and helpful. The location is very convenient to the Metro Station and other restaurants for variety.

For a high end hotel, it was lacking design. The room furniture looked like a collection from a flea market. Nothing coordinated in color, pattern or style. Strange. Lighting was poor, especially at the bathroom mirror where good lighting is important - just some silly pendant fixtures next to the mirror with half-mirrored light bulbs restricting even more of the light. Overhead light was 2 ft behind me, casting more shadow. One lamp unplugged. Telephone not working so couldn't call for car valet. Lighting outside door was a random spotlight several feet away. Elevator EMERGENCY LIGHT BROKEN. Hallway appeared to not have been vacuumed in a week, with small debris all along the edges. Definite wear/dirt in center of hallway. Ice Machine closet looks like an ice machine stuffed in someone's old basement. Banquet room stack chair in hallway?? Is that a designer choice? Hotel sent a welcome email that explained pool closed after Labor Day but that was incorrect, in fact it's open through Sept. We chose a hotel with a pool but then didn't bring bathing suits because of the hotel email, so we missed that amenity due to their inaccurate "welcome" email. Didn't live up to expectations.

Rooms were lovely, maybe not as big as the photos but comfy bed and pillows. Coffee machine and water every day. Fluffy towels and big bathroom with bath and shower. Great location only 5 minutes from DuPont Circle Metro. Pool area with free pool towels. Elias on reception was v v helpful. Staff very friendly and helpful on Reception. Bar area with low lit lamps was very pretty. Breakfast quite expensive but very tasty and lots of choice. Free refills for coffee. Would definitely go there again.

The rooms are spacious, the bar and restaurant are beautiful, the conference area is really nice, and the staff are incredible.

Room is very large, comfortable and quite. The staff service was disappointing. We lost a cap at the property and contacted the staff to ask if it had been found, but unfortunately, our concern was not given much attention and we did not receive much assistance.

Friendly staff, cleanliness, neighborhood and close to Metro

Beds were comfortable Lock on the door was a flimsy slider. At 1130p I was awoken because 2 disoriented men were trying to get into our room. I had a my young daughter with me and I didnt want to scare her. I cannot see without contacts and didnt want to open the door. The room phone was difficult to operate in the dark. When someone finally answered at the front desk they said they would send up security. When the men yelled let us in I said no loudly and they said we must have the wrong room. My concern lies in how easy it is to get up in tbe elevators without scanning your key card and the lack of a lock on the door that would make me feel safe. When I asked the front desk about it in tbe morning they simply said sorry for the inconvenience. I really didnt like that. It minimized how scary it was for 2 women traveling alone.

Extremely comfortable (huge) bed with nice sheets. Generous with free bottles of water. Very professional and friendly staff in reception, concierge, housekeeping, restaurant. Water pressure in the shower wasn’t good, difficult to rinse shampoo from hair. Breakfast was average but dinner was fantastic (worth the price).

The hotel is clean, centrally located, and convenient for exploring Washington, D.C. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was slightly overpriced, with some unexpected additional costs. There were also many mosquitoes, and I couldn’t find repellent at any nearby pharmacy. It would be helpful if the hotel supplied mosquito repellent or provided some form of protection in the rooms.
