It was an amazing hotel!! Would definitely stay here again!

Huge Spacious amazing room with comfy bed and great Hot shower. The TV matched the size of room as well. The staff were all incredibly nice, professional and helpful. Had 3 separate reservations and was able to stay in same room which was convenient. Had Dinner at Rigbys which was delicious. The bar is nice though pricey small drinks. The pool is amazing. Has a great gym too. Stayed during the hottest week with Temps in high 90s and 100's but sadly AC couldn't accommodate so AC worked but not able to cool room down appropriately. I was given a fan which helped and a 100.00 room credit for inconvenience which was nice. I truly enjoyed my stay. Great location close to good restaurants and great bagels breakfast across the street. Would definitely stay again but not during a heatwave.

Booked a double queen for me and a friend. First the garage was full. Was switched to a king suite as an “upgrade” with a sofa bed. Sleeping on a sofa bed is not an upgrade. The AC also did work properly and it was very warm all night. They did comp us restaurant credits so that was nice but I’m not sure I would rebook again.

It is clean and elegant, also in a very nice and convenient neighbourhood with easy access to Metro and many nice shops and restaurants.

Great location, so many restaurants around, from breakfast to even late snacking. Clean room, friendly staff. The only problem is their small & few elevators, which can be annoying if you’re in a rush.

44th anniversary and the best they could do was a 3rd floor room with a view of an alley! Have stayed at Kauai and Baltimore Sonestas where they treated us like valued customers. Not DC! We'll stay somewhere else next time.

The staff was friendly and professional and made the experience very easy and enjoyable. Shawn and the front desk team were great.

Room was very large and clean. Facilities were good but we only used the bar. Close to bars/restaurants and underground.

The staff is absolutely amazing

I loved the location of the hotel, it was a short walk to Rock Creek Park, Dupont Circle and a pretty residential part of Georgetown. The lobby area was very attractive and my room was large and well appointed. The doormen and front desk staff were attentive and helpful. I didn't eat at the hotel because I was attending a Conference at a nearby hotel.

Great hotel in a great location of Dupont cirlce. Friendly staff and a great place for dogs to stay.

Perfect, the staffs were amazing

Note: as of June 2026 they are working on the exterior and it’s very loud in some rooms - ask about this at check in. It was loud for us but they comped us the valet which appeased us. Note for hotel: more towel hangers are desperately needed. Consider also putting a chair in the room - the large space is great but there’s nowhere to sit except the beds.

The interior art deco decor is phenomenal. Bar and restaurant amazing.

While a renovated property, 50 percent of staff interactions were not just poor - they were clear detractors. Example, when asking for help with our bags at check in - we were told “bell staff is over there, just get their attention and they can help you”. We do not plan to return.

We loved our spacious and clean room! All amenities were a 10/10! The restaurant was a bit pricey.
