Clean premises. Friendly staff all round. Great rooftop bar with excellent views.

We love staying at Motto by Hilton micro hotels. The rooms are small, but well designed and functional. The design and furniture is always interesting and the lobbies and restaurants have been fantastic, this one is no exception. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Marcus, and seemed to enjoy their job (rare these days). Added bonus is the awesome free toiletries by Basd!

The room was extremely small, and there was a bad smelling coming from the air conditioner when it was turned on. Otherwise it was a solid stay and the staff were very helpful

The hotel was very clean. The room I was in was a little small but it was ok as I was only staying one night. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The only flaw is the parking. They do have valet parking that’s a little pricy and they use a garage that is not a far walk and you do get a discount. Also it’s walking distance to some museums, stores and pharmacy if needed. I would stay again.

Was about what I expected. Minimalist room with nice amenities, very good bar, and plenty of places to eat nearby. I'd stay there again.

Busy part of town. Nice hotel.

The hotel is also located right across the street from an entrance to the Gallery Pl., Metro stop. This made it convenient to access other areas of the city quickly. Overall, I would consider staying here again as the price was more reasonable and this hotel provided me with when I needed in order to get a reasonable night of sleep. If you are looking for a more spacious room than you should look elsewhere, however, if a compact room will work then you should consider this hotel.

Customer service was excellent.

Nothing to write home about, location is good but be aware rooms are extremely small, two people with carry ons should be fine, but often there’s a medium sized bag involved it will be a challenge

Nice location close enough to eating places and sites. Great stay!!

I had a decent stay here, largely thanks to the wonderful staff, everyone from the valet team to housekeeping and the front desk was incredibly friendly and welcoming. While I already expected the micro-hotel concept to mean small rooms, I was disappointed by the total lack of decor, which left the space feeling barren and without any real style. They could really improve the rooms by adding modern charging outlets for phones and smart watches. To make matters worse, the only window in my room faced a brick wall of a neighboring building, completely blocking any natural light or view. I didn't use the on-site bars, so I can't comment on those, but overall it’s a clean place to sleep with great service if you don't mind a lack of room ambiance.

It was smaller than I expected of a hilton

One heads-up for future guests: the surrounding neighborhood isn't the best, so just be aware of that going in. That said, the hotel does take safety seriously. There's security on-site and the building locks down at night, which gave us peace of mind despite the area. Would recommend if you know what to expect and stick close to the hotel itself.
