Riggs Washington DC

So close to all major attractions.

We had family members that came to join us for drinks and they were all so impressed, the whole family is now coming to the hotel for our next visit! (Some had gone to the Westin and some to the Ritz). The place is beautiful and location very convenient. Thank you for making our visit to DC a pleasure.

Riggs it’s one of the best hotels we have stayed in DC, everything about it, rooms, restaurants, bars and personnel are excellent. It would be great if the hotel decides to open a nice bar or restaurant on the rooftop.

Wonderful place

Too shady! Seemed like RESORT charges for such a tiny room. On/off light switch hard to locate because you literally were in the dark behind the bathroom door in a very small space of the bathroom. My partner and I did not touch any candies, drinks for any charges occurred. I am very appalled 😭of this hotel

Centrally located for the monuments and national mall. Wonderful breakfast. Very helpful staff

Excellent location for government activities

Everything was well done - strong price/value. Only issue was bathroom light was out and an outlet in the room was not working - found this out after I thought my equipment was charging overnight.

Everything was excellent. It was close to Washington D.C events.

Overall this place was fantastic, but there was one big problem. There's about a 1 inch marble lip on the floor transition from the bedroom to the bathroom area. Myself and other guests tripped over it repeatedly, badly bruising our toes and feet in general. One guy told me they put a bath towel over the transition to help cushion it, but I didn't hear that til Day 4 of a 5 day stay, with one toes possibly broken on my right foot. Seriously. Otherwise, this is a fantastic location and I would happily stay here again. Great food, staff, amenities, all 5 stars!

Beautiful hotel in a convenient location to major sites. Beautiful decor in this renovated bank. Room was comfortable and clean with great blackout curtains. Cafe Riggs is a stunning room with good food, cocktails, and coffee. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Staff were incredibly helpful and courteous. Rooms were lovely and spacious. Location was amazing! Steps from metro and a few blocks from the museums and national mall.

Check in was easy and friendly. Door staff was fantastic, kind and helpful. Rooms were cute and well-cleaned. No carpet, which was great, and well swept. The restaurant was tasty and well-priced. Overall an excellent experience. And no, it's not too far from the mall; its very conveniently located. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful historic building that had everything we needed for a lovely stay in DC. The staff was very pleasant and helpful and the location was perfect for site-seeing in DC. Within walking distance to thee White House and most of the museums on the national mall. Also close to many great restaurants and the metro and Fords Theater. The Riggs restaurant is also excellent with excellent service. They have a large gym downstairs and many great amenities. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Second stay here and it will not be the last! In part to the great staff. Special shout outs to doorman Coach and bartender Sam.
