Overall a good stay for a Marriott.

The Marriott at Metro Center is a superior property. Lots of eating and shopping in walking distance. Most attractions less than 30 minutes walk at most.

The room was nice, the staff was pleasant and helpful. I feel that all the charges after the fact are not fair, all costs should be up front and included when reserving a room. I was charged $75 dollars a day to park my car valet and never moved the car from the time I arrived until the time I checked out, and I did not want to walk 3 blocks to park with my family and luggage. I was charged $13.50 a day for parking tax, $30 a day for a destination fee, $4.79 a day for destination fee tax all on top of the original room price. For a total of $372.80 over and above the original reservation price of $874.78 for 3 night stay!

Very family friendly, great amenities, centrally located so very easy to get to many of most popular spots for tourists, very close to the subway which was very convenient.

Great one night stay! Close to trains. Went to National Park to catch a baseball game and it was very easy to get there. Pool was meh. Cloudy water and old rusty ceiling. Other than that and the expensive parking fee, all good. If you come early enough, there are $25 early bird parking lots around that can go in. Close to all National centers. Good stay overall.

The staff was very nice especially the cleaning staff. The restaurant was under staffed and they either would not or could not serve us. The 15th floor was hot. There was zero written explanation of where things were or what options were available. Nothing was available on the website either.
