Washington Marriott at Metro Center

Good location, comfortable rooms, clean I tried multiple time to call for extra blankets and the AI person couldn’t understand and would say they are transferring me to the front desk and it wouldn’t ring. Tried multiple times. Same thing when trying to ask for a late check out. There should be a way to contact the front desk without going through AI. Also , our server at the restaurant was very rude

Me and my grandson was there too to visit the Washington monument and museums that Port was fantastic the room was okay I booked a hotel through booking.com and that check out I would charge an extra $30 a day for just renting the room would never come back again very disappointed especially when you walk outside the hotel and homeless people is sleeping on the side of the restaurant When walking outside the hotel less than 20 ft away you have homeless people sleeping in the entrance way of the restaurant was not expected to be charged extra $30 a night for just staying there at the hotel very disappointment never again

The property was much further away from where I wanted to go Too far from the sights I wanted to see

The Washington Marriott at Metro Center is an upscale Marriot in the heart of DC. It is conveniently located adjacent to a Metro station and short walks from restaurants, museums, Smithsonian, theaters. The facilities are very well maintained and the staff is very accommodating. There is nothing not to like. It is an excellent base of operations. That said, it is also on the expensive side. If you are going to take advantage of what the hotel has to offer and "enjoy the experience", the price is certainly justified. If you are being a tourist and need a base of operations at which you will only sleep in the room for a few hours a day, then maybe there are less expensive options.

This is definitely a business person's place to stay where they can write everything off. Basically, no amenities. Breakfast is pricy, and there is an internet charge if you're not a Marriott member. Staff was friendly there other than the lounge. A pretty place, good location, but overpriced.

The location was amazing. The construction was my only issue. But I still enjoyed my room.

While the room was clean and newly renovated, the towels were ragged and cheap looking. We had one bar of soap and one lotion, had to ask for more, and the air conditioning was terrible. It would switch off during the night and the room would get hot and humid. We would need to wake up several times to constantly adjust the temperature. The reception staff was nice and helpful, and the overall stay was good as it was close to the subway and walking distance to all of the museums and main attractions.

The room was great and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant also was good for breakfast and a late night snack we needed on one of the nights. Overall it was an excellent experience.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained. The staff members were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to provide helpful directions, with special thanks to Noor for providing exceptional service. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We stayed for the DC bike ride. The hotel and staff were geared for the riders and their bikes! They were so organised and helpful and made it all so easy for us. The room was very comfortable and we had a great stay.

Great location. The hotel is clean, room sizes are decent, and staff is very helpful. Swimming pool is not much use as it's very small. Overall quite happy with the stay.

very clean and professional staff for an upscale hotel, I was especially disappointed at the water pressure of the shower, it was not a good shower experience esp. after coming back from a hot day in the summer and the water was slow and no pressure. I was shocked for a more expensive hotel that it lacked water pressure quality. One of the towels had stains on it and the cleaning staff forgot to fill the hair products bottles.

Cleaned up the room and replaced towels in time everyday. All staff are extremely helpful and friendly, I forgot my ID on front desk when checking in, they kept it and returned to me, saved my life. Will definitely pick this hotel if I came back to DC.
