Great location. Clean and safe area. Very nice rooms.
-
Also, you get charged lodging sales tax, destination fee sales tax and destination fee which at over 15% each is quite expensive. However, it is extremely well positioned for sightseeing and visiting the national monuments, and the metro station underneath is very handy

Will not return.

The light in the bathroom is on a fixed/non-adjustable timer (around 8 minutes) and will turn off in the middle of your shower, unless you're really fast. The bathroom also has poor ventelation.

Facility looks beautiful. My room was very spacious. However, my room was a connected room and the insulation is not very good. So, I heard voices of my neighbors that was very disturbing. I requested to change my room to another non-connected room, but I could not get one and had to spend 3 nights in that room. Power-outlet attached to bedside desks were lose and I was not able to push my charger fully. It is not just a convenience issue but also the safety/fire hazard issue that any hotel should watch out for and get all fixed immediately. Two bedside desks had the same problem. This may be the indication that this high-end hotel is not paying the attention to its basic maintenance and details very much. My toilet bowl tank valve was not functioning and water continued to flow to a tank although the tank was full. Another maintenance issue. I was able to fix this is issue by myself by adjusting a little screw. Yes. It is as simple as that, but the hotel did not notice the issue and fixed it before I check in.

Great size rooms and great location.

The room was very clean and the lobby was inviting. It was convenient that the hotel was so accessible from the Metro.

I paid over US $300 a night for the room. But apparently that wasn't enough... they charged "A daily destination fee of US$30.00 is applied to each room of your stay in order to provide services and amenities that enhance the guest experience." My experience was not enhanced.... No thank you.

Very nice, clean hotel in DC. At least a 4 star if not a 4.5. Great location and very handy having the DC Metro Metro Center station located there. Clean, well maintained. Classy but not snobby hotel. The shops on site and full Starbucks in the hotel were great additions. When we were there that terrible heat wave hit and they were happy to provide us with some bottled water. Fairly close walk or Uber or Metro to many monuments and museums. Would stay there again!
