I was absolutely shocked on how cute this hotel was. The staff was friendly and it smelled amazing and clean. The room had me in shock on how big it was. I stayed just for the night but I will definitely be back to this hotel. It was in waking distance to the restaurants and stores. It checked off all my boxes.

All my reviews are redundant! The Georgetown Inn is, without doubt, the premier hotel to stay in while visiting WASHINGTON, DC! The general manager, Mike, runs a tight ship from the front desk staff, to the Bell staff, to Housekeeping. Everything is pristine!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location.

The one with a very clean the staff was very helpful when you get a microwave a boiler right away. We did not experience the breakfast, nor the bar but everything went well.
-
It’s a great hotel, about a 15 to walk to the main places in Georgetown. Room was great. WiFi could have been better but that’s the only negative. Would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Georgetown Melrose Hotel. It was a great location and a beautiful hotel. There were some things that definitely showed the age of the hotel, but overall, we loved the decor and amenities. The location is extremely convenient and within walking distance of Georgetown, the White House, public transportation, tons of restaurants and more. The hotel is located directly next to an emergency facility so we heard ambulance sirens throughout the night, but it wasn't too terrible. Overall, we loved it and would stay again.

Great location, walking distance to M Street, nice lobby, ample and clean room, friendly staff, small elevator, and little to no parking spaces, but all in all a good stay for the price.
-
I arrived early to the hotel due to an early flight. I did not want to pay an early check-in fee, so I just hung out in the lobby. I was given a room at 1pm, free of charge. The rug in my room was full of stains and the chair was so damaged, I could not sit on it. There were 2 holes in my shower, and I am not sure why they were there. Very disappointing.

Hotel was very nice and clean in a well centered area. Staff was really nice and helpful. We would definitely go back and stay here again

Great

The location and safety were absolutely fine. The two engineers as well as the employee who checked me in and out - stellar.

Loved this hotel. The location was great, the room was spacious, very quiet for sleeping, bar and restaurant on site. I would definitely stay here again.

Location is convenient. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel as a whole needs a refresh. The bathroom ceiling had peeling paint, the lobby chairs were dirty, the beds headboard, which looks like it was pleather, was worn and peeling. On the morning of our departure, we got on the elevator and it smelled like rotten garbage, evidently someone spilled something and it dried up on the elevatorwalls and doors, but the question is when, the night before? This leads me to wonder how often anyone from the staff, especially housekeeping, checks these things out. My travel partner and I actually left 3 days early just because of these issues and initially the hotel was going to charge us a full night's stay, because we were checking out early. Also, be aware that this hotel charges a restoration fee, similar to a resort fee, which isn't always apparent because I over heard another guest inquiring what this extra fee on his hotel bill was for.

Location, staff, and room were all top tier.
-
The hotel was clean, people nice, the only thing I did not like was the $10 dollars charge for a water and the extra charge for conservation historic fee that was not mentioned prior the book. If you go on weekday be prepared to spend $75 dollars on parking

Such a great hotel. Staff is outstanding. Just nice people, great location, charming lobby
