The Melrose Georgetown Hotel

Tuvimos una muy buena estadía en una suite , amplia y cómoda. El personal fue muy amable tanto en el counter como en el desayuno. Sin embargo, ya deben remodelar algunos acabados del hotel que están desgastados y cambiar las toallas. Las almohadas eran incómodas. Me parece que podrían remodelar ya que hay acabados

The general atmosphere was good and the staff was polite. It wasn't far from most sightseeing locations The options for food were limited. I far prefer a buffet breakfast. Some helpings were carbohydrate- loaded with half the plate filled with potato chips!

Exceptional

Had a great experience! Hotel is in a nice location, very walkable to everything or the metro which was also easy to navigate. Would come back. Front desk staff was so sweet the entire time and incredibly helpful.

Bed was good and pillows! Very convenient to metro

The room was not clean, which made the stay uncomfortable. The staff also wasn’t particularly helpful or welcoming when we needed assistance. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I would not stay here again.

The Melrose is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Situated about a five minute walk from the Foggy Bottom Metro and is also close to shops, eateries and two great bars (Marshall’s and ChamThai). About a 20-25 min walk to Lincoln Memorial and the White House. The Metro system is easy to use. Bar, restaurant and lobby area are stunning and the reception staff are brilliant. They are friendly, very professional and look after you well. We stayed in room 401 which was a king sized room. The room was massive with plenty room to walk around. Bed was very comfortable with sockets in the bedside tables (very convenient for mobile phones) and comfortable pillows. The bathroom was clean and tidy with a separate sink area outside next to wardrobe. Really liked this. In a morning between 7-10 free tea and coffee in lobby area and between 10-10 free flavoured water. This is an amazing hotel. Shower curtain rail goes up at the sides meaning curtain doesn’t go to the edge. Floor gets soaked.

The lobby is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are small and there are no towel racks. The restaurant is over-priced and there are no alternatives nearby. The bar is in the lobby and bright, but the drinks were delicious.

Kobe at the front desk was great, very friendly and very accommodative location is great. Rooms are nice and spacious and they were very nice to my dogs.\nParks , located close by and easy to walk to even a dog park down the street They told me there is a $75 dog fee per dog 1st day.

Delicious large American cooked breakfast served in classy restaurant. Metro 5 mins away and 5 stops from Smithsonian and National Mall. Location was pleasant leafy streets, near George Washington University. Very safe.

Beautiful hotel with an excellent restaurant and fun little bar. Room was clean comfortable and spacious. Location is ideal for restaurants, the university, and all the sites of DC. Would definitely recommend

The location is excellent. The property is spotless, the staff is wonderful.

Excellent little hotel to serve as an alternative to an in-Georgetown proper location as it’s only three blocks away.

Unfortunately, housekeeping didn’t do a good job maintaining in between days. Cups and utensils weren’t replaced clean. Seems like bare minimum but location is still incredible and makes the stay worth it.
