The large suites and balconies are a rare find. And to have so much space and an outdoor area really elevated this hotel above all the rest. The location could not be bettered either. A 5 min walk to Foggy Bottom Metro puts the whole of Washington in reach.

First time visit DC, would like great hotel with great value. This is the one. The entire stay was great, very clean, great location and close to everywhere. Big shout to Tyler and another young lady, sorry I didn’t catch her name. They are super helpful with my check out. Highly recommended. If I have chance to come back, I will definitely choose this hotel again.

So Loud! Construction during the entire stay. Parties and trash all over the hallway. Came back from work to find 4 teens smoking a bowl in the hall. If you are looking for a comfortable, clean, safe hotel stay- this is NOT it!

The charges my card 500$ once I checked out saying I smoked on property but I don’t smoke I called back then they said it was their mistake they didn’t see no signs of smoking then offered to send money back now I have to wait 5 days for my money which is so unprofessional I should of got my entire stay money back just for the mishap

Stayed here before, new hotel name but same great service.

This place is amazing. Brand new. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Central location. Definitely recommend

Small disappointment was 'free breakfast', in our case it included only limited offer of pastries and tea or coffee. Luckily , there are other breakfast places nearby. Overall we have enjoyed our stay in this hotel.

The staff at the Hotel AKA Washington were outstanding. The room was clean, the balcony was great, and the bed was very comfortable. I did find it odd, that the kitchen area did not have any kitchen towels, paper towels or a drain board. The other thing that was odd, was that this was the only hotel that I have ever stayed at, in my entire life, that did not have an area where you could go get your own ice. Also, if you want to park your rental car here, it's going to cost you a lot of money, as they only offer valet parking at around $70 a day. We ate at the restaurant one time for breakfast, which was expensive, but good food. Personally, I would not stay here again.

The number one reason I got this hotel was because it had a balcony and it was so close to everything!! everything was spotless. I got the Junior Suite which was a little bit larger, but I still considered it to be very reasonably priced. I got there just as they were changing over to Hilton hotel if you’re planning on going to work at 9 AM or something like that, the restaurant downstairs does not open that early which was surprising so you have to look around for a Coffee Pl., Safe area of town and very attractive

After booking a room months in advance and receiving a confirmation from this hotel days before, even offering a possible upgrade, I arrived to check in and was informed there was no room available for me due to an "unexpected issue with availability," leaving my daughter and I without accommodation on the evening of 4th of July in Washington, DC. No notice was given, other than the email saying I had a confirmed room, no assistance from the hotel staff to try find an alternative booking, basically no concern that this had happened, and no compensation for the travel and transportation costs to the hotel only to find out they had cancelled my room. Ultimately we were unable to find another place to stay, on such short notice on a holiday, and missed the fireworks show while trying - ruining our plans for the entire trip which we had looked forward to for months. I don't know what happened here; the hotel has not been very forthcoming with details - but I would continue to confirm your reservation if you choose to stay here.

This is now one of my favorite hotels in DC. The location is great! The staff was so welcoming and the rooms was clean, great amount of space and a balcony. I was there for work, but will be back for a vacation too!

Hotel was good, staff was communicative, courteous and prompt. Restaurant was over priced for what was offered and food was okay. Just ate breakfast with my Dad for $62 !!!! Ouch !
